Answer one question each from the following five bunches. Each question carries 12 Marks.

BUNCH I
I.A Many of the applications in your mobile phone, especially Google, are tracking your location using the
GPS in your phone. How collecting the location of customers can help companies to become more
competitive? How can they earn more profit using location tracking? How can customers benefit from
sharing the data? (CO1:12 Marks)

I.B Imagine you are the marketing manager of a boutique in your locality. How can you ensure that
maximum data of the day-to-day transactions are recorded? How can we process this data? How can
this information be used for increasing sales and profit? (CO1:12 Marks)

BUNCH II

II.A Jumplead is a small and midsize business (SMBs). They want a cloud-based marketing automation
solution that assists marketers in email marketing, creating landing pages, contact management, and
lead management. They also want the information system to help marketers segment, nurture, and
score leads based on real-time lead activity on the website. In addition, the platform should allow
marketing executives to create conversion forms to drive lead generation by sending automated emails
and notifications for following up. Design an appropriate information system that can tackle all the
above-said details? (CO2:12 Marks)

II.B Max enterprise requires a standard comprehensive financial management information system geared
towards its small and medium businesses and accountants. It should deal with bank reconciliation,
invoices, tracking expenses, payroll, and advanced reporting. It should be both cloud and on-premise
solutions. As a software provider design one such information system and provide a blueprint of the
components of the same? (CO2:12 Marks)

III.A The manager of company Y is retiring next year. He is a specialist in the field and no one can replace
him. How using an expert system will help the company to address this issue? Design an expert system
to resolve the issue. Explain it's working. (CO3:12 Marks)

III.B Company X is spending crores of rupees on advertisement every year. Even though there is an
increase in the advertising budget over the last few years, the return on investment is declining. Design
an expert system that will help the company to reduce the ad cost and increase the return. (CO3:12
Marks)

BUNCH IV
IV.A International research conducted by analysts at cyber intelligence company Group-IB found more than
1000 fake accounts on the messaging app Facebook Messenger over the last year. These fake
accounts promoted ads on the website offering users the ability to upgrade to a newer version of
Facebook Messenger, which didn’t exist. Innocent users who clicked on the link saw their Facebook
login credentials stolen and misused by cybercriminals. This large-scale scam was discovered in over
80 countries worldwide in Europe, North and South Americas, Asia, and the Middle East. If you found
yourself in the situation, propose the security measure that you will take in order to gain your identity
and data back from the cyber-attack? (CO4:12 Marks)

IV.B The banking/credit/financial industry is a prime target for obvious reasons because these organizations
deal in what attackers want most — money and personal information. Banks, credit unions, and other
financial institutions are believed to be giving security and confidentiality to customer information. In a
survey, Accenture found that 78% of financial institutions were confident in their cybersecurity
strategies, yet 1 of every 3 is successfully attacked (at an average of 85 breach attempts per year).
Propose solutions for cyber security issues faced by the industry to avoid such branches? (CO4:12

V.A The sales and customer retention of the company XYZ is on the decline. As the business advisor to the
company, you suggested the company to use customer relationship management software for solving
the issue. Explain how a CRM can help the firm to acquire and retain more customers. (CO5:12 Marks)

V.B The COVID-19 pandemic showed the world that entire healthcare sectors require serious upgrading,
including enhanced modernization, efficiency, and flexibility. If a patient cannot attend a doctor’s
appointment, how else can they receive care? How IoT enabled telemedicine can help patients to get
