Bob Hawke was the 23rd Prime Minister of Australia born in Bordertown, South Australia on
the 9th of December 1929.

Bob Hawke was Australia’s third longest serving Prime Minister and the longest serving PM
in the Labor Party.He recorded a 75% approval in 1984, the highest popularity rate ever
recorded by an Australian poll.
He was also the president of the Australian Council of Trade Union from 1969-1980
