Pony Races

Shared Traits: The Cutie Mark. Every pony has a special talent or passion that defines their life.
At a certain age, they receive a mark on their back flanks that matches their talent. Try to make
your character’s talent and passion match up with the chosen Skill bonus. This will help you
develop your characters’ personality.

Earth Pony

Racial Traits

Average Height: 2’9”-3’8” (at the shoulder)


Average Weight: 180-220 lbs

Ability Scores: +2 Strength, +2 Charisma


Skills: +2 Athletics, +2 Choice of One Other
Size: Medium
Speed: 7 Squares
Vision: Normal

Languages: Common, choice of one other


Earth Pony Vigor: You can use your Second Wind with a minor action instead of a
standard action.
Friendship is Magic: Any ally who ends their turn adjacent to you can add +1 bonus to
any saving throws they make.
Pony Kick
Encounter * Martial
Minor Action * Melee Unarmed
Target: 1 creature
Attack: Strength +2, Constitution +2 or Dexterity +2 vs Fortitude (chose one at
creation).
Hit: Strength, Constitution or Dexterity modifier damage.
Effect: If you hit, the target is dazed and slowed until the end of your next turn.
Notes: Increased to hit bonus to +4 at level 11 and +6 at level 21. Increase
damage to 1D6 + Chosen Ability Score damage at level 11, increase to 2D6 +
chosen ability score at level 21.

Trait: Quadruped
As a Quadrupedal creature, you experience certain advantages and disadvantages.
Firstly, you cannot use a two handed weapon. However, you can carry weight up to your
Strength score times fifteen without being encumbered. Beyond that rate, you suffer the
penalties as normal. Finally, a player can ride on your back as long as one of you has the
Mounted Combat feat, provided their weight and your gear does not exceed your strength
times 15.
Pegasus Pony

Average Height: 2’8”-3’6” (at the shoulder)


Average Weight: 170-220 lbs

Ability Scores: +2 Dexterity, +2 Charisma


Skill: +2 Acrobatics, +2 choice of one other
Size: Medium
Speed: 6 squares
Vision: Normal

Languages: Common, choice of one other


Pegasus Flight: You can move 6 squares per turn via the Flight rules.
20% Cooler: Any ally adjacent to you gains a +2 bonus to all Charisma based skill
checks, but not to charisma based attack or damage.
Elemental Charge
Encounter * Thunder, Lightning, Cold or Radiant (chosen at character creation)
Standard Action * Melee
Targets: 1
Attack: Strength +2, Dexterity +2 or Constitution +2 vs Fortitude
Hit: 1D8 + Constitution modifier damage
Attack must be made as a charge attack, with all rules, bonuses and penalties. On
a successful hit, you automatically trigger a secondary attack.
Secondary Attack: Burst 2 (same elemental type as the main attack)
Targets: All creatures in the burst
Attack: Strength +2, Dexterity +2 or Constitution +2 vs Reflex
Damage: Constitution Modifier
Notes: Increase to hit bonus to +4 at level 11 and +6 at level 21. Increase damage
to 2D8 + Con at level 11 and 3D8 + Con at level 21. On the secondary attack, the
to hit increases the same degree. At level 11, change the damage on the
secondary attack to 1D6+Con and at level 21, increase it to 2D6+Con.

Speed: 6 squares
Vision: Normal

Languages: Common, Choice of One Other


Unicorn Magic: Gain the use of the Wizard class features Light and Mage Hand. If your
class grants you these talents, double the radius of Light and double the weight you can
move via Mage Hand.
Telekinesis: You can use two handed equipment and implements as if you were not a
quadruped. In addition, you can use quarterstaffs as a melee weapon as normal.
Ritual Caster: Unicorn Ponies automatically get the Ritual Caster feat.
Ritual Scholar: You automatically have a ritual book and two rituals of your choice equal
or less than your starting level.
