• The project aims collect books, notebooks, and stationeries for

children in areas affected by typhoons and floods.
• The goals of the project include the collection of old textbooks from
grades 1 to 12, white notebooks, school supplies, school clothes,
old clothes and cash aid.

Constrains

• The time and scope of project implementation are constrained, so the

quality of the project is not great.
• Looking for sponsors because calling for donations through propaganda
does not attract much attention.

Risk

• The sponsorship is too little and does not attract donors.

• Prolonged delays due to this donation does not force people to
donate on time.

In every project, there is a project management approach, one of the good approaches is a
holistic approach. It means controlling and reviewing the levels of problems and individual
project tasks.

Critical evaluation of the plan:

• Project performance evaluation

This project is one of the projects implemented for the community, with the goal of donating money, books, and
clothes to children in the flooded area. The above-mentioned tasks were initially successful when the whole group
collected over 50 textbooks, 5,000,000 VND, and many clothes for children in flood areas. This is a small-scale
fundraiser so the above figures show a success. The tasks have been done on time and on budget.
• Finishing project documentation
All project tasks and issues are warranted and full reporting is provided to key stakeholders.

After the project has ended, the budget has been used reasonably and sufficiently relative to the original estimate,
thus using the same cost for similar small-financed projects in the future can be successful and appropriate.
• Conducting post-implementation evaluation
During the project implementation, the set tasks and objectives are implemented on time and the implementation
process is good. In addition, everyone in the group has made many effective contributions and collected a lot of
clothes and books for the donation.

In this project, traditional approaches are used to approach problems in a classical fashion. The
traditional approach will evaluate the project in the direction of simplifying the tasks to be
performed in the project. Besides, this method provides a process of checking, tracking,
monitoring each completed task.

We use the checklist to evaluate the performance of

members. The checklist includes list questions about
the job in the project such as ‘’ design poster,
collecting donations…’’ to measure the performance
of this member.

In our project, we evaluated the performance base on 3
factor:
• Quality of work: we evaluate this number based on the
quality of job and the skill of the member (present skill,
English...)
• Teamwork: (Base on the attitude when teamwork, and
the performance)
• Sense of responsibility: (On time and the attitude with
job)

Management by Objectives
• Defining goals for each employee
• Directing employees' activities to achieve established goals.
In a warm hug project, we work together to achieve the
goal of the project. Because it is a volunteer project,
therefore the aim and the value of the project much
maintain. By using the MBO methods, we work together
to identify, plan, organize, and communicate objectives.
At the end of the review period (1 week), Members are
evaluated by their results (number of completed works,
amount of donations, number of books collected ...).
