1. How has globalization affected religion? Cite an example.

Religion and globalization have long had a tense and tumultuous relationship. Any
people refuse to embrace the current reality and resort to religion to reclaim their sense of self.
India has a large rural population that will take time to reap the gains of globalization. Religion
serves as a 'home' for personal stability in today's fast-paced world and sends a message of
peace in times of crisis. Religion should take advantage of the new opportunities provided by
economic powers to reach out to a wider audience while still rediscovering the spirit of other
religions. While all religions have set scriptures, none of them have fixed values. Religions should
unite to advocate for greater world peace through universal tolerance and respect. (Monaim El
Azzouzi)

2. What is the role of social media in globalization?

Through international media broadcasts, television programs, emerging technology,

video, and music, the mass media are now seen as playing a key role in enhancing globalization
and fostering cultural interaction and various exchanges of knowledge and images between
nations.

3. Does the corona virus affect the educational system in the Philippines? Why and Why not, cite
an example.
Pandemic and political stories highlight the importance of developing pandemic
preparedness and adaptation in particular countries. The Philippines should be smart enough to
respond to COVID-19 with its political resources . We need to feel a different kind of leadership
that rises above the ordinary politics to do the work that is required to accomplish our goals, no
matter how complicated, expensive, or inconvenient it is. In this pandemic, putting people's
fundamental needs ahead of political agendas can go beyond community service. Sharing data,
exchanging ideas, and collaborating on strategy and decision-making will help both leaders and
people turn things around.
Richer nations are well able to transition to online learning methods, but it will take a lot
of work and commitment on the part of teachers and parents. Many children may not have
access to a desk, books, internet access, a laptop at home, or parents who are helpful. Radio and
television are both remarkably effective instruments. It is vital to keep children, especially young
high school students, engaged. Going to school is about more than just studying math and
science; it's all about forming social bonds and interacting with peers. It's about improving social
skills and learning to be a person. All educational institutions have the same mission it is to solve
the learning crisis we've already seen and to adapt to the pandemic we're all facing. Today's
challenge is to minimize the pandemic's negative effect on literacy and education as much as
possible. The good thing is that all of the changes, programs, and investments that school
districts will have to make will likely have a long-term positive impact. This writes that the
process of reopening schools may be slow, as policymakers would try to avoid aggregation and
the risk of a second pandemic flood. Schools must consider ways to rebuild safer, more resilient
communities. (Shashank Jauhar)
