about the puma and adidas brand. Puma started in one thousand nine hundred twenty-
four. The German brothers Adolf (or Adi) and Rudolf founded a shoe factory in nothing
less than their own mother's laundry. His business was the only one that made sports
shoes at the time. Rudolf Dassler founded his own factory, PUMA AG, in one thousand
nine hundred forty-eight As a consequence, Adi Dassler took control of the company and
