Simplified – Volume 3.

This is one of our favorite lectures over at

FreeNeville.com - because it contains powerful lessons
that many people miss, when it comes to states, spiritual
awakening, and manifesting.

This is one lecture we love to explore, because if you

don't fully understand the nature of states as Neville
experienced and taught them, you will find it much more
difficult to effectively enter into the state of the wish
fulfilled, and encounter confusion as you attempt to
understand his teachings and apply them.

The 75 lessons that this book contains are designed to

help you get the most out of his teachings, and by taking
this specific lecture and breaking it down into bite size
chunks, you can more easily learn them and incorporate
them into your life.

Each lesson has three parts. One paragraph of the

original Neville Goddard lesson. Followed by a section
detailing how we work with it in our personal lives and
explore it in our trainings. And each lesson closes
with a Take Away that you can work with personally.

LESSONS IN FREEDOM - IMAGINAL ACTS BECOME FACTS
NEVILLE GODDARD – Mr Twenty Twenty

Lesson 1: “Tonight we will discuss states. When we open the bible and read the
story that is given to us, you may think they're talking about people that lived,
individuals, persons as we are. But it's not so. The characters depicted in the
bible are not the individuals named. They are simply states signified by those
names. “ - Neville Goddard

There are two kinds of states that Neville explores in this lecture. Those are the
Eternal Spiritual States, and the Creative States that each of us can create. The
characters in the bible represent the Eternal Spiritual States, that we all grow and
evolve through.

TAKE AWAY: Neville's interpretation of scripture can be very empowering, because

every individual in the bible represents an ETERNAL SPIRITUAL STATE that we
pass through as we awaken. By studying the stories, we discover more and more
about the states that we can assume in life, and how to function within them.

Lesson 2: “For instance the name, Moses or the name Abraham or the name - or
any name that you find in scripture. They are not individuals as you and I are.
They simply are a state of consciousness through which the individual, you and
I, the immortal being - we pass through these states. The word MOSES means
to be born. It's the old perfective of the Egyptian verb to be born. Abraham, the
father of the multitudes. We start there. Moving through states and you and I
pass through states towards our own redemption. We come to the end and that
state is personified in scripture and men take the personification and worship it
as a person - stick it on the wall, and then cross themselves before it and
genuflect not knowing that these are states. “ - Neville Goddard

Study the stories in the bible, and study the names of the individuals. The name of a
person, describes their essence, their state. If you want to study what it is like to be
born, or reborn – study the life of Moses. The life of Moses, is an adventure in
consciously being born or reborn.

TAKE AWAY: In addition to studying the STATES of each character in the bible to
transform your life and your state, remember to Never worship anyone, or put them
above you. You are not the state you inhabit. You are consciousness, the great I AM-
NESS. You have amazing potential and are greater than any state. Worship and
revere what you truly are, what I truly am. And stop worshipping ANY state, or
anyone you know who is in a state that you admire or aspire to.
Lesson 3: “So we must learn to distinguish between states and the individuals
who pass through these states. These states are eternal they are forever. You are
an immortal being. And you move through states, the states remain, permanent
forever. You pass on. We change states, the states do not change. We change
states, but we the individual, we are forever. It is like moving through a city. The
city remains, but we pass on. To think that because we have left the city that the
city has ceased to exist would be stupid. “ - Neville Goddard

Neville shares that the states are eternal. They do not change. They last forever. And
he reminds us that you and I are IMMORTAL beings, who can move through any
state, who can move through many states. The more you realize that the real you,
passes through many states, just like how you pass through many cities on the
journey of life – the less you will get stuck in any that are less than what you desire in
life.

TAKE AWAY: You can travel through many cities in your lifetime. You can choose
to drive through them quickly, stay for a short time as a visitor, or move there for a
significant portion of your life. The same is true of states. Notice the states that you
pass through, notice the states you visit for a while, notice the state that you currently
live in – and decide if you want to embody them, or something better from this
moment onward.

Lesson 4: “The city remains and we go on. We pass from one state to another
state and finally we come to the end. That end is described in scripture as Jesus.
Well, that's a state. You are the immortal being passing through states and when
you come to the very end, you are in that state. It was predetermined. It was
shown all of us before we started. Shown us in the state called Abraham. We saw
it all in detail and if we entered it reluctantly or not, who knows.” - Neville
Goddard

The name of Jesus means, “Jehovah saves.” The final state of Jesus, reveals to us the
power of the states we can create. We can create a NEW state, for ourselves, or for
anyone that we want to help. We can do this any time, when we personally realize
the state of “Jehovah Saves”.

TAKE AWAY: Neville uses the terms “imagination” and “Jesus” interchangeably.
He teaches that your own wonderful human imagination in action, is the state of
Jesus. His intention is to help you experience how you as imagination can save you –
from any limitation, any lack, any thing you want to eliminate in your life. The key
is to remember that it is the power you are, the human imagination, can save you
from damnation that you have created in your life – by creating states that create
change in your life.
Lesson 5: “Paul tells us that we were made subject unto futility not willingly,
but by the will of him who subjected us in hope and the hope was that we would
obtain the glorious liberty of the sons of God. So we were told it was not all
together a willing subjection on our part, but we kept the divine vision as Paul
would say "In time of trouble." And so we continue on the journey.” - Neville
Goddard

Some people teach that life here on earth is punishment. Some say that we chose it
deliberately. Neville quotes Paul, in that your life here is part of the divine vision,
and he shares elsewhere that it is through human experience that God expands.

TAKE AWAY: Remember, life is a gift, an opportunity to evolve through the spiritual
states, and to explore the power of creating states for ourselves and for other people.
As you explore the ultimate gift of being able to choose a state, you will awaken to
new levels of joy, peace and personal power.

Lesson 6: “In this world you and I can create states, but the spiritual states are
eternal. We create a state here, it's not eternal. We create a state to deliver
individuals forever more. I create a state, if somebody asks me. (They say) Will
you hear that I am and they name what they would like to be. Alright, so that I
must create the state knowing that he is now in a state that he dislikes. I must
distinguish between the being and the state that he is in. (Here is an example) So
I see him unemployed and alright, he wants to be gainfully employed. There's
nothing wrong with that.” - Neville Goddard

We don't create “reality”, we use reality (which is our wonderful human imagination)
to create states – which is what the physical world flows from. Neville shares in this
section, what you need to know about your true nature, before you can create a state –
to help yourself or to help another.

TAKE AWAY: We need to distinguish between the being and the state he is in,
according to Neville. What are you? What is the person you are helping? Neither
of you is the STATE that you are found in. What you are is “I AM-Ness”,
consciousness, the wonderful human imagination.

Lesson 7: “So I represent him to myself as one who is gainfully employed. Who
has more than he's ever had before. To the degree that I am self-persuaded that
he is what I have now imagined him to be. To that degree, he will actually
become it. I move him out of one state into another.” - Neville Goddard

To create change in the life of a friend, you begin with creating a representation of the
person you want to help, living completely from the ideal state you have in mind for
them. If you are doing this for yourself, you do this while see the world through your
own eyes – as you would see your world from your own eyes - as if your state and
circumstances were ideal. On the other hand, if you are doing this for another, you
can see them performing perfectly, and later seeing them (their body) through your
own eyes, talking with you – about how perfect their world is now. (This
conversation you are having with them, IMPLIES that the shift into the desired state
is already complete.

Lesson 8: “But that state into which he fell, remains for anyone to fall into it
and all can fall into it at the same time for that matter. He's not the only
occupant of the state of being unemployed. There could be millions being
unemployed and there could be millions who desire to be out of it. Many who
are unemployed have no desire to be out of it. They prefer to be on welfare.
That's their desire, perfectly alright. But if someone desires to be gainfully
employed and to leave the state of being unemployed, you and I can create that
state.” - Neville Goddard

What ever state someone chooses to live from is okay. Each of us, will in time, have
the opportunity to play all the parts that we choose to. You can not erase a state like
poverty in the world. You can help anyone who wants out of poverty get out of
poverty – by holding them in the state of wealth and riches. Remember, a state of
unemployment isn't bad or good. Neither is the state of illness. They are all optional
states that we can create and explore as we choose. They are all states that we can
learn amazing lessons from, and states we can move beyond.

TAKE AWAY: If someone desires to move from the state of unemployed to gainfully
employed for example, we can create the state of that already having had happened,
for them to move into. What is really amazing about this passage, is that it shows the
power of combined imaginational effort. Think about this. If you were to ask me to
imagine you living from a new state, you would have to imagine that it is in fact
possible for you to live from that state – before you ask me to hold you in that state,
inside my wonderful human imagination. You imagine it as possible and ask for
help. I imagine that it is already done.

Lesson 9: “But how do I create the state? By using my imagination. Imagination

is not a state, it's the human existence himself. You are all imagination and God
is all imagination, you are God. And God is actually within you, as your own
wonderful human imagination.” - Neville Goddard

Notice how Neville defines “imagination”. He states that imagination is not a state, it
is the human existence himself. Neville uses the term imagination and God
interchangeably. Use whichever one empowers you more. What is important to
your success with these methods, and to your awakening as well, is to drop the
thoughts that you are separate from God – and that power is anywhere outside of you.

TAKE AWAY: Imagination is not a state. You are not a state. You are imagination
– consciousness – the I Am. You are greater than any state, because through the
application of what you are – imagination – you can assume any state.

Lesson 10: “Now these permanent states of the SOUL, these spiritual states they
remain, you and I pass through them towards our own redemption.” - Neville
Goddard

Keep in mind in this lecture, Neville is talking about two kinds of states, the Eternal
Spiritual States of the Soul, which are what everyone evolves through as they wake
up to their true nature, and the CREATIVE STATES that we each can create. The
creative states are the stories we live out, that we live from.

TAKE AWAY: You pass through the eternal spiritual states as you awaken. Each
eternal spiritual state is a potential dwelling place for you – a way of perceiving and
experiencing the world. The creative states are how you specifically create your
experience and how you create your world.

Lesson 11: “But in the interval, (while you are awakening) you meet a friend
and the friend is in need of help and the help is to move them out of the state. I
couldn't give you money, but as Peter said, "Silver and Gold have I not for thee,
but such as I have, give I unto thee". And he creates a state and takes the man
from being a beggar who's always begging on the corner and puts him into a
state, where he jumps up with joy. He's now employed, not begging for money.
So he didn't give him coins, he simply gave him a new state of consciousness.

Gold and silver both represent value here on earth. If you give away gold or silver
you have less of it, while someone else has more. Giving away “stuff” to help others
always seems to cost you, because once you give it away – you have less of it
personally. On the other hand, creating a state that blesses – always gives to you.

TAKE AWAY: Creating a state costs nothing. Creating a state is ALWAYS a gift to
you, when you create more ideal states for others to move into. Imagining your best
friend healthy feels good, and creates a healthy focus in you. This is very different
than feeling bad because they are ill. That doesn't help them, and it makes you feel
bad – and puts you in a less resourceful state. Another example is imagining your
neighbor wealthy, doing what he loves and getting paid well. If you imagine that for
them, you are creating that state within you FIRST. Feeling health, feeling wealth –
for another person – generates that same exact goodness in your life.

Lesson 12: “So I take you as an individual, and I represent you to myself as the
one that you would like to be. The one that I, if I were in your state, would like to
be. I'd make it FIT within what is known as the golden rule - I do unto others as
I would have them do unto me. If I were in that state, would I like to be in some
better state? Certainly! Well then, do it to another.”

This is why we follow the golden rule. To imagine bad for another, you have to feel
it in your body and experience it in your imagination first. Anything you experience
in imagination, you begin to create the state of in your world. We always want to
follow the golden rule, and imagine good for others – and good for ourselves.

TAKE AWAY: This is why ending gossip, and refusing to entertain or participate in
negative, limiting conversation is a must. Focus your inner conversations and your
outer ones too on love, health, wealth, awakening – and your conversations will
support the state of the wish fulfilled. See Mental Diets on FreeNeville.com

Lesson 13: “And so if he asks it of you, you simply represent him to yourself as
being gainfully employed or if he's unwell as being well. Or if he is not, if he
wants to be married and he can't find the proper mate, then in your minds eye,
you assume that he has found the proper mate. What it is that is a normal,
natural request that is not in conflict with your own moral/ethical code.” -
Neville Goddard

What does your friend ask of you? If he says what he doesn't want, then help him
get clarity and power by helping him define what he actually wants. For example,
saying, “I don't want to be lonely” or “I don't want to be poor” - those do not seem to
work all that well. Helping them notice, “I want a wife, a wife who...”, or helping
them define, “I want a job that..” or “I want a business that....” Getting to this point
helps them, and you, imagine their actual wish fulfilled.

TAKE AWAY: Ask the question, “What do I want INSTEAD”, when you are focused
on what you don't want. This question orients the mind, so that it gets positive and
specific. And that is important so you create and generate what you do want in life.

Lesson 14: “And you create a state. This state - then you lift your individual into
that state. Well, how do I do it? I carry on a conversation mentally with that
friend from the basis that he is in that state. He tells me how happy he is with his
new job and how much he is making. I see him in my minds eye, radiant. Well
then am I self-persuaded that this imaginal act is a fact? Do I really believe in
the reality of what I've done? Do I believe that imagining creates reality?” -
Neville Goddard
Neville shares three questions in this section that are well worth noticing. 1. How
do you do it? 2. Am I self persuaded that this is NOW a fact? 3. Do I believe that
imagination actually does create – what most people call reality?

TAKE AWAY: Remember, the physical world is called the world of the shadow. It is
the world of effect, that takes the form of our light filled imaginings. Keep this in
mind, and your imaginal power will grow by leaps and bounds.

Lesson 15: “I do. Well then, to the degree that I am self-persuaded he becomes
the embodiment of what I have imagined him to be. These are states. So man
must distinguish between the individual and the state that he is in. So Blake
said, "I do not consider the just or the wicked to be in a supreme state, but to be
every one of them. States of the sleep into which the soul may fall in, it's deadly
dreams of Good and Evil, when it leaves Paradise following the serpent. The
serpent of generations.” - Neville Goddard

You are not the state you occupy. You are not the state you desire. But to assume a
state, you need to feel it as real. To feel it as real, feels as if you are it – you are one
with it. This is how we shed our old skin, and become reborn.

TAKE AWAY: States are the sleep, the dreams into which you “the soul” may fall.
Choose your states, choose your dream, for it becomes your reality once you SEE
AND FEEL from that state.

Lesson 16: “So we came down to experience death. For this is the world of death
where everything appears, it waxes, it wanes and it disappears. So everything
dies in this world. No matter how long it seems to be, it dies, eventually. So we
come down into the world of death and the last enemy to be destroyed or to be
overcome is death. I enter death and then conquer death to prove that I can not
die.” - Neville Goddard

You are immortal. You move through states that are eternal. And everything on
earth, the shadow world appears, waxes, wanes and disappears. We came here to
experience cycles. Creation and growth. Destruction and death.

TAKE AWAY: You can enter into a state completely – instantly. And when you do
that, you invite it to come into the physical world, where it appears, waxes, wanes
and disappears in time. That is what we call the adventure of a lifetime.

Lesson 17: “I am an immortal being beyond all imagination. I can not go to

eternal death, in that which can not die. (I am that) Which is my own wonderful
human imagination and that is God himself. There is no other God. He actually
became as I am that I may be as he is.” - Neville Goddard

God being infinite in potential, gets to become infinite in actuality by expanding his
experience, through mankind. Mankind which experiences itself as finite, gets to
imagine new possibilities, and expand what is – and what is, is all the experience of
God.

TAKE AWAY: Imagine you are the vehicle for life – consciousness – God to have
the experience of a lifetime. What would you imagine, and embody to enrich the
experience of all that is? Remember the golden rule, and have fun!

Lesson 18: “So God became man. He's not pretending that he is a man, you
can't pretend and influence anything here. You've got to completely become man
and forget you are God and that's what you've done. You are the God who
became humanity, that humanity may become God.” - Neville Goddard

Imaginal power is not FAKE it till you make it. Imaginal power is reality, which
takes what has been expressed, embodied and made physical already, and drives it to
take on new tones of reality, and new modes of expression – by you choosing to feel
a new ideal as real.

TAKE AWAY: We aren't pretending, we aren't hallucinating with Neville's methods.

We are creating states, states which we or others may occupy, and those states change
the physical world. Those states are options that we can choose to experience, or
choose to stop experiencing.

Lesson 19: “So these are states. If man knows it, well then he can forgive every
being in this world for what he has done because he only expressed the state into
which he unwittingly fell.” - Neville Goddard

You can forgive any being easily and instantly, including yourself, once you realize
that the individual is NOT the state that he has fallen into.

TAKE AWAY: Forgiveness is based in the power of forgetting. Forget the state that
you possessed previously, by fully embodying and fully felling the state of the wish
fulfilled. I was a shy, sick little boy. One day, I decided to fully embody and be
healthy and confident. Today, I can't even remember that old state. It is like a story
of another's life.
Lesson 20: “He could fall into the state of being a thief and enjoy that state. He
thinks he's doing fine. (He thinks) That it is better than if he went to work every
morning and pushed a little button. He's making more, he thinks he's doing fine.
Then comes the inevitable consequences of that state. Is he willing to pay the
price of going into that state, well usually he is unwilling. He doesn't regret the
state, he wonders what did I do wrong to be caught.” - Neville Goddard

Every state has a price to pay. That price may be possible prison time or a life filled
with fear for one who has chosen the state of the thief. The price may be enjoying the
love and respect of being a father, for one who chooses that state. Choose the state
you wish to come from. Choose the state you wish to pay the price for.

TAKE AWAY: The price you pay can be a pleasing thing. Imagine the state of a
loving marriage – and the price you pay is a LACK of stress and the lack of
experiencing a power struggle with your partner. The price you pay is you get to
experience and embody love, respect, and the joy of mutual growth and awakening.

Lesson 21: “There isn’t a thief in this world, who is regretful of the fact that he
is a thief? (They think) No, what did I do wrong? So when I do it again, I must
be more aware of what I did formerly that put me into the arms of the law. They
are only regretting what they did wrong. And they are trying to find out what
they did wrong.” - Neville Goddard

There is a very powerful lesson in this section. The thief does not regret being a
thief. He actually thinks he is doing well, and thinks about how to IMPROVE his
abilities – so that he doesn't get caught. This is truly thinking FROM the state of the
wish fulfilled.

TAKE AWAY: Notice that the thief only regrets getting caught. He doesn't regret
being a thief. An author who is writing about a character who is a thief, if he was
going to write effectively, would write from that perspective. What is the perspective
that you – as the writer of your life – can come from that would bring the reader into
the world of your wish fulfilled?

Lesson 22: “It's a state. So everyone in this world is in a state. If I know that, I
can lift him out of a state if he requests it. I don't go around looking for people to
lift them out. If anyone requests it, it's a very simple technique. You ask of me
something I would ask of you were I in your state. And so, you ask it of me, what
does it cost? Nothing. You are told come, eat, buy wine and milk without money
without cost. It costs nothing, you simply create the state and the state that you
create, you put your friend into it.” - Neville Goddard
Neville believed in the power of the wonderful human imagination. He believed that
the imaginal experience was what is real, and the rest of the world is “it” pushed out.
How can you help another? You can help anyone and help everyone you choose, by
simply creating a new state for them and lifting them into it.

TAKE AWAY: When you are tempted to make yourself feel better for someone you
feel sorry for by giving them stuff and thinking that makes a difference (it really
doesn't long term), instead of giving away stuff, give them the ultimate gift – the gift
that gives to you too – the gift of a new state to move into.

Lesson 23: “What would it be like if it were true? What would the feeling be
like, if he really could tell me now that he is the man or she is the woman that
they would like to be?” - Neville Goddard

“What would it be like if it were true?” That is a powerful question, one that opens
the door to experiencing that state NOW. Use it to begin your Feel It Real sessions.
How would it feel if he really could tell me now that he is living from his ideal state
in life? How would YOU feel if your best friend was now in their ideal state? You
would feel joy, thanksgiving, relief, pure power. Feel those states, embody them.

TAKE AWAY: Embody them now, not just so that you can imagine effectively, but
also so that you get the blessings and the benefits of LIVING life AS those states.

Lesson 24: “Well then, I persuade myself as they are telling me. Listen as
though I'm hearing their voice. See them, as though I'm actually seeing them in
the flesh and then go to my business. Go about my way, confident that that thing
that I did will work.” - Neville Goddard

Notice Neville enters the state of their wish, as they are telling it to him in
imagination. He listens to them share their joy, in his imaginal world, as if he is
seeing them in the flesh. (First person experience, through his own eyes.) And once
he fully feels this ideal as real, he CONFIDENTLY goes on with his business.

TAKE AWAY: Feeling it real is not OBSESSING about it. Obsessing about it,
keeps you worried, doubtful and pushing at an outcome. Obsession keeps it trapped
inside the conflicted ego mind, where you have to look for proof and where you have
to figure out how to force it to happen. Coming from the state fulfilled on the other
hand, allows you to REACT to the world – peacefully and powerfully - as your ideal.
I started acting like a black belt – with confidence and with consideration – years
before I was awarded my first black belt. And reacting to the world as a black belt,
changed my focus and my behavior – so that I could enjoy participating in the world
as a black belt.

Lesson 25: “So Blake said, I had dinner last night with Isaiah and dinner with
Ezekiel. I asked them, that does a firm persuasion that a thing is so - make it so?
And they said yes, in ages of imagination. But today few are capable of an
imagination of anything. If you could actually believe in the reality of your own
imaginal act, then these things will become facts in your world.” - Neville
Goddard

Now, Blake had dinner with two dead historical people, or the embodiment of two
spiritual states. Either way you look at it, he had dinner with two people in his
imagination. And those two states – gave him confirmation of what he knew about
the power of the imagination.

TAKE AWAY: Who would you like to have dinner with? What wisdom would you
love to tap into? Have dinner with those people, or those states inside your
wonderful human imagination. It sure beats repeating the workday inside your mind,
or watching reruns.

Lesson 26: “But, they are states. Now we said I know that, many people have
painted say the FURIES as three women, we have it in Shakespeare's Macbeth.
The three witches, I have painted them as you know. I painted these as men,
three men the FURIES, but not as three women, but you must remember, that
mine is vision and not fable.” - Neville Goddard

It's one thing to repeat what others have written about – that's fable. It is quite
another thing to write (and to live) from experience – that's vision. Neville begins
this section bringing out the difference between the two.

TAKE AWAY: I personally feel very comfortable writing about the Law and the
Promise, because of my personal experiences. If you want to help people, feel free to
tell them about Neville. If you really want to help people, use what we share – so
that you can share your experiences too. Once you have experience, you speak with
the power of vision.

Lesson 27: “So you can sit down to write something and it's fable. It may have a
bit of truth in it, but three are there, yes, but they are not women. In vision you
see them as men. Man can fall into that state of fury. A woman can turn into the
state of fury, but when you see it in imagination they are men. When you see
these as characters just as they are painted in scripture from beginning to end.
All of these are states. When you encounter a state, it looks like a person. When I
stood in the presence of Abraham, its a man, a majestic man, about 6' tall, 6'6.
This handsome, wonderful man looking into the distance. But the distance was
not in space, it was in time.” - Neville Goddard

The world of experience is not only the physical world, it is the world of
EFFECTIVE IMAGINING. Neville shares how he experienced the furies, which
was as men. He shares how he experienced Abraham. He shares with conviction,
because he has 100% acceptance of his experience.

TAKE AWAY: We are not our bodies. We are what experiences our bodies. We are
also what experiences our mind. If you wait to call your EXPERIENCE OF THE
IDEAL as real – until AFTER it shows up here in the physical world, you are
blocking it. If you fully feel it real inside your mind, you have REALLY
EXPERIENCED it. And that is what brings it forth in the physical world.
Remember, you CREATE THE STATE – that creates your world.

Lesson 28: “He (Abraham) was looking in to the end of what he saw. He saw the
end. And therefore, that end justified all the means. For when he comes out at
the end, he comes out as the author of the script. He comes out as God himself.
And everyone is going to come out as God.” - Neville Goddard

Abraham saw the end. He was the father of the multitudes. If you wish to be the
father of your ideal, you must see only the end. Bridges of incident will develop in
the physical world, that will enable your end to become physical, but you must hold
the end in mind.

TAKE AWAY: See from the end. That moves you from hoping that it will happen,
to knowing that, SINCE it has happened in your imagination – that it will happen in
your world – if you continue to live from that state. - What do you do if you have
imagined what you don't want? Stop living from that state, and create a new state, a
more ideal state and live from (react to the world) from that state.

Lesson 29: “So we pass through the state called man and we think how
miserable we begin and then we end, and that's it, but it's not so. Everyone
comes out in the end as I Am, but I Am completely awake and that is God. So
when you meet all these characters of the scripture, if they are (seen as) persons,
but you will know if you see all in your minds eye, they're all states. States
personified.” - Neville Goddard
Neville is now focused again on the SPIRITUAL STATES. These are the states that
we evolve through, as we discover our true nature, and the true nature of God.

TAKE AWAY: Remember there are the SPIRITUAL STATES which are ETERNAL.
You move through them as you awaken to your true nature. There are also the
CREATIVE STATES that you create – and those create the world that you and others
live in.

Lesson 30: “And we have taken the personification for persons. We have taken
the gross percent for the ultimate sense intended. And the vehicle that conveyed
the instruction called the instruction itself. And so man has taken scripture as
secular history and it's not secular history, it's divine history. And these are the
eternal states through which all of us pass.” - Neville Goddard

Neville's personal belief is that the bible has no historical fact. That may or may not
be true. If you believe that the bible does have historical fact in it, that's okay – it is
ALSO a collection of STATES to experience life from. It's probably more important
and empowering to allow yourself to experience scripture ALSO as a vehicle that
teaches us about the spiritual states, the states embodied by each individual that is
written about.

TAKE AWAY: Many readers we know disagree with Neville's statement that there is
no historical truth in the bible. That's okay. Just remember you can also use
scripture to learn about the states each individual embodied, because you can embody
them all as well.

Lesson 31: “And when we come to the end (of the spiritual states), we are Jesus.
Now in the interval (in the creative states) what seems to be is to those to whom
it seems to be. And it's productive of the most dreadful consequences to those of
whom it seems to be. Even of torments, despair and eternal debt, but divine
mercy steps beyond and redeems man in the body of Jesus. In the end there's
only that final state, Jesus only.” - Neville Goddard

While you are in the process of awakening to what you are – consciousness –
imagination – you get to experience all kinds of states. Some of them aren't all that
pleasant. You get to stop choosing them. Some of them are quite liberating, and you
can start choosing them more and more. All the time, discovering that YOU are
greater than all the states, because you are the one who chooses which ones to create
and to embody.

TAKE AWAY: You can choose the states of confrontation, conflict and confusion at
any time. That is a mistake some people make when it comes to the teachings of
Neville Goddard, when they get to stuff like this. Instead, do as Neville says, if it
feels better to you to use the term “imagination” - than the term Jesus, then do that.
The whole idea is to awaken you to the power that you are.

Lesson 32: “You will fulfil the law, you will fulfil the prophets. How do you fulfil
all the prophecy and all the law, for you saw it now differently and you'll fulfil it,
in the end, there is Jesus only. And who is Jesus? The Lord God Jehovah. And
you are actually redeemed in that one body. And you are the Lord God Jehovah.
It seems so stupid to tell you, who have but what, 3 score and 10 years in this
little earth of ours, that you are one with the creator of the universe.” - Neville
Goddard

It is so easy to identify with the body, and the states that the body inhabits that
Neville sees it as stupid – to attempt to remind you that you are one with the creator
of the universe. What you have identified with is so small, compared to what you
truly are.

TAKE AWAY: We were given the Law (what you hold in mind tends to manifest) so
that you can realize the Promise (You are one with God.) The law works, because of
your true nature – you are imagination – you are consciousness. What you imagine –
becomes real in your world – because of the power that you are.

Lesson 33: “It doesn't make sense. And you're going to say that that man (the
visionary) is mad. But I tell you, from the beginning of time, all men, visionary
men, were accounted mad men. For I see these things, I can't deny them. In my
mind I really go see them. I see them in my imagination, that's where I see them.
Where did I see David? Where, but in my imagination. Where did I see the
Christ child, the symbol of my birth from above, had to be in my imagination.” -
Neville Goddard

Visionary men were always seen as mad. They saw in their imagination what was
coming. Einstein saw atomic power in his mind. Edison, the light bulb. Tesla, the
common use of electrical power. Their visions were REALITY in their minds first,
and their lives on earth participated in the vision being made physical.

TAKE AWAY: Your imaginal experience is what is real. Do you fully feel it as
real? If you do, you will embody it in the physical world. And the rest of the
universe will follow the lead of your body – which is part of the universe.

Lesson 34: “Where do I see these worlds into which I step and talk with people
with whom the world calls dead? I can't persuade them that they died because
they are not dead and so I say, ya know you died and they say who's dead? I say,
I didn't say you were dead, I said you died and that doesn't make sense to them
and they aren't aware that they have died because they're not dead. They
haven't died. Well I can't deny that they're not dead. I'm talking to them and
their talking to me. And they are flesh and blood and they are real as we are real.
And yet I can't persuade them that they went through an experience.” - Neville
Goddard

Long before my near death experience in 1989, I was experiencing dreams and
visions of my Grandmother, after her physical death. She was younger, prettier, and
still gave me good advice and guidance. All of this was imaginal, and every bit of
guidance she gave me, blessed me. Was it really her? Who knows. All I know is
that the experience had REAL BENEFIT to me.

TAKE AWAY: We don't die. Almost every old spiritual tradition agrees on this.
Add in the experience of people who have had near death experiences, and you can
eliminate all worry and fear of death. And as a bonus, you can embrace that the
universe goes way beyond your physical senses, and is full of potential and
possibility that is pretty darn amazing.

Lesson 35: “That we left behind, (that we) in this section of time, call death.
That we buried them, went to their funerals. They can't believe it because they
are not dead. And you are telling them that they died. And you're telling them
that they died and if they died then they're still dead. How will you talk to it.
How can it be actually an animate body responding intelligently to all that you
are saying, when it hasn't died?” - Neville Goddard

You are immortal, you pass through states that are eternal. Just because someone
dies, doesn't make them all knowing. Neville shares how people awaken in a new
world, to continue to explore the Spiritual States.

TAKE AWAY: The intelligence, the love and the life that you are – are all immortal.
You can't come to an end. Your body can, because it is part of the shadow world, the
world of cycles, the world of death. You are life itself, which can play all the roles.

Lesson 36: “Not to itself, but to you, with memory alert you know it died and
you are trying to persuade it, that it has actually moved into another time slot
and it's not here. It is an entirely different time slot. And that time slot need not
be consecutive with this. Say (it is) 1973 when you meet him and he died in '72,
no. It could be the year 3000. 3000 is now existing. The Year 1 is existing all of
these are still existing and you can step here and find yourself in the year 1000.”
- Neville Goddard

Neville shares from experience. Is he right? Who knows, who cares. He had an
experience, and he is sharing it with the intent of relieving suffering and reducing
confusion. Many mystics state the time is not entirely sequential. Enjoy the
possibility and enjoy the play.

TAKE AWAY: What would happen if you stopped living and teaching the fables you
have been living by, and started focusing on having experiences worth sharing? I
can help my clients become speakers, writers, and internet marketers, because I have
lived those roles. I can speak with authority in those realms. I can not speak as an
authority in the realm of quilt making – even though my mother and several of the
older ladies in my neighborhood made beautiful quilts when I was growing up.
Speak and share from your experience, and you will experience more and greater
things. On the other hand, if you speak and share from second hand experience or
fable, and you will create confusion.

Lesson 37: “Then that is necessary for your own unfoldment don't think for one
moment that you've outgrown the year 1,000. Take the writers of today, have
they outgrown the year where Shakespeare lived? Then why aren't they writing
like Shakespeare? Have they out grown the beauty of that age. When they
translated our ancient scripts into English and now we have the King James
version. That majestic monument to English literature, well, who's doing it
today? Who is writing Shakespeare today? Are the beetles writing Beethoven? It
begins with a B alright but it's not Beethoven. It's not Bach, it's not Brahms so
have we outgrown these great giants? No. That age could be a far greater age for
what they need when they SKIP from here to find themselves exposed to real
music.” - Neville Goddard

You can travel into any age, inside of your imagination. And you can feel any age in
time as real. Why not do that today, and explore what is possible for you?
Shamanic experience is just another form of experience, one that can enrich your life
greatly. Think of it this way, some people are red / green color blind. They don't see
red or green. Most people are blind to the world of the mystic, the world of the
shaman. That doesn't make that world any less real, than the world of green and red.
Just because some people don't experience it, doesn't make it not real – or useful.

TAKE AWAY: Mystics and shaman from many cultures share the same kind of
experience. The world is much more interesting and full of many more possibilities
than most people care to imagine. Imagine you can explore history, and the mystery
of life – and you will. Keep in mind, for some reason – your earthly experience is
where it all gets GROUNDED, so keep it all in perspective and have fun.

Lesson 38: “Real, wonderful creative things. So it is not a progression one way.
All this thing (reality) is a closed theater and it's all closed. You slip off the
garment here and you find yourself awake. It could be in the same time slot
beyond this moment, but the chances are it will not be. Until that very end and
when you come to the end, you'll only know you're at the end when the son of
God calls you father.” - Neville Goddard

You slip off the garment. You still exist. This is one of Neville's foundations. You
are not your body. You leave it behind, when it dies. If you accept that now, you
will experience the power you are, instead of being limited to the power of the body
that many people believe that they are.

TAKE AWAY: What you imagine as limitation, becomes limitation. Imagine you are
the body, and you limit yourself to the power of that body. If you do that, you will
have to force the world to change, by doing physical things. The body is how we
participate in this physical world, and in the change we wish to experience. The body
is not what we are, and it is not the source of change in the physical world. The
physical world – including the body – follows change in mind.

Lesson 39: “And you read these stories, the son of God is David. I said unto
him, you are my son. And there it is. So then David stands before you and he
calls you father. And you know he is your son and he knows you are his father.
Then you have reached the end. The end is the complete awakening of your own
wonderful human imagination. That's what the whole vast world aches for. The
awakening of God within them. And God within man is man's own wonderful
human imagination. That's God. So we have the permanent spiritual states of
the soul, through which the individual passes to his redemption.” - Neville
Goddard

Neville describes a vision, that helped him understand that he created the world he
lives in. That the is “the father”. When you realize that that you are the father – you
bring awareness of your true power and identity home.

TAKE AWAY: We create – the state that creates our experience and our circumstance
in the world. Create the state of fear, and you will behave as if the world is a fearful
place. You will also find yourself surrounded by people who are creating the same
experience. On the other hand, create openness, create love, create empowerment in
your imagination, and you will find your world full of those qualities.

Lesson 40: “And then we have states that you and I create to deliver men from
their present state into which they've fallen. So we fall into a state of being not
wanted and feeling sorry for ourselves, that's only a state. The individual in that
state is one with the individual who sits on the throne. There's only one God so
that I is the same.” - Neville Goddard

There is one mind, one spirit that moves through all individualized things – that is
what many old spiritual traditions teach, and what many mystics experience. What if
what “you” imagined today, leads the individual “minds” of many – because of your
focused intent and willingness to feel it real?

TAKE AWAY: Discipline yourself to feel only wonderful, great things. And if you
slip into a less than ideal state, move through it (as you would a city that you choose
not to move into, but pass through) and return to a more ideal state. You choosing to
embrace and embody more empowering and pleasing states blesses everyone.

Lesson 41: “Now may I tell you, there is no loss of identity. You will never lose
your identity. It will never cease to be and it will never change. You are NOT
absorbed; you are an I and that same I is that sum sense of awareness and
forever and forever you are individualized.” - Neville Goddard

You are forever individualized, and you are forever the consciousness that you are.
You are not your body, because it waxes, wanes and dies. You are immortal.

TAKE AWAY: You don't die, dissolve or disappear. That seems to be the universal
fear, and that is what never seems to be a concern of any mystic. So why not adopt
that state, that belief and see what it is like to experience the world through the eyes
of someone who knows that they live on.

Lesson 42: “And you'll change forever towards other greater and greater
individualization. There's no absorption in this, yet you are that one. And you
are passing through these states towards the awakening of that one and you are
that one. But these states, told as persons in scripture, you pass through them.
When you come to the end you come right in to David. David is the resultant
state of your journey from Abraham to Jesus.” - Neville Goddard

You experience greater and greater individualization, because you continue to have
more and more unique experiences in life. Neville shares in other volumes, God is
infinite in potential, and gets to experience actual infiniteness through all of our
infinite varied experiences. When you look in the mirror, what you see is the mask
that God is wearing.

TAKE AWAY: The end is the state where you experience that you are the father of
the son, and you realize you have been creating all these states – that create your
world. What if you realized you could not ever be separated from God, the source of
all life? How would you experience the world then? Neville shares with us, what
his experience of that is like. What a wonderful state to try on.
Lesson 43: “He (David) is the resultant state for when you reach the end, you
awake as the Lord and he has a son and the son is David and David is the
symbol of humanity. You have gone through the entire gamut of man and may I
tell you if you know your scripture, everything, every crime in the world possible
to man is described in the bible openly. There isn't a crime, you name it, that is
not described in the bible openly. Man goes through them. He doesn't have to -
he can discriminate and not fall into one if he knows they are states. But you sit
down and you listen to a certain story a man who is prejudiced and he poisons
your mind and you fall into that state and accept his prejudiced mind. And then
you're going to pay the price of that prejudice, eventually you will.” - Neville
Goddard

You don't have to go through every possible state available to humanity. You can
discriminate and not fall into any poisoned state. We call this the power of
REJECTION. You can reject a state. Others can reject a state, that they or that you
are in. But you can't reject you, because you are immortal.

TAKE AWAY: Any time you find your thinking has been poisoned with a less than
ideal thought, be discriminating – and reject that thought. Turn your back on that
state. That way you don't have to pay the price of that state.

Lesson 44: “You don't have to accept it, you are going to arrest it. You don’t say,
bring me what the chef wants to get rid of tonight. (You say), bring me a menu
and then you order. Maybe he has only that one order that you want. No one else
wants it, but you want it. I go in to arrest it. I was in New York city a few years
ago it was early I grant you. it was only 11 in the morning and I had no
breakfast, it was brunch. I took some friends into the Hilton hotel. I went to this
bourbon room. Well it was Sunday and I don't dress up for Sunday, I went in
with an open shirt.” - Neville Goddard

What an amazing analogy. You look at the menu, and you order what you choose to
eat, what you choose to add to your experience. You do this not only in your mind,
you get to do this in your physical world as well.

TAKE AWAY: Neville embodies his teachings in his daily behavior. He shares this
story from his daily life. How you live your life, is how you run the wonderful
human imagination. Choose what you want in life, choose what you want in your
imagination, and accept only that.

Lesson 45: “Well, NY hasn't quite caught on to California when it comes to

wear. And so the head waiter (is) all stuffy and he said button up in this very
very heavy accent. Well I have an accent too, so I couldn't criticize him. But here
he is with his very very heavy accent and he's criticising my appearance because
I had on a jacket, yes, but my shirt was open at the neck and I am taking five
people into brunch. So I buttoned up the collar and he gave me a table off the
wing not to be seen by those who were coming with ties and shirts. And then I
said, alright, I want clams. The waiter that took my order said, clams? I said yes,
I want clams. I don't want bacon and eggs and I don't want the usual breakfast,
you think you're going to serve everyone. I want clams for breakfast. Bring me
clams. He delayed and delayed and then finally he brought the clams and I said,
come back here please. This isn't charity, I'm paying for it. Bring me, I want
some horseradish and a little Tobasco sauce. Reluctantly, he goes and he gets
that. That's what I wanted, I'm paying for it.” - Neville Goddard

Notice Neville doesn't settle. Why should he, he's paying for it. Why should you
settle for any state that is less than what you desire, because you will pay for it. If
you want to be poor, or unhealthy, that's okay. You will have plenty of company. You
will pay the price for choosing that state, however. On the other hand, you can
choose to be healthy, wealthy, and live from states of strength and possibility.

TAKE AWAY: What is your ideal meal? Order that. Settle for nothing less. If the
waiter doesn't bring you everything you want, ask for it. And remember, this is your
life, not just a meal we are talking about. This is your life.

Lesson 46: “Well, in life you do the same thing. You don't just go in and say
throw me a tie. You select one from maybe 100. A silly little thing that you put on
your neck, but you still want one tie and you want to pick it out. The same thing
is true of these states. Don't let anyone poison you and pull you into a state
because you are going to pay the price of that state. You are only moving
through states, but there are a permanent fixed number of states. And the bible
records them. Every character in that bible is a state.” - Neville Goddard

The Eternal Spiritual States of the Soul. Those are the states recorded in scripture.
You are moving through them as you awaken. Remember, you are greater than any
state, you are consciousness – you are the condition of “I AM”.

TAKE AWAY: You are only moving through states. “I am frustrated” is a state. So
is “I am happy and creative”. When you feel stuck in frustration, or are in any less
than ideal state, simply give thanks. Give thanks that you realize that you are the I
AM, that has been stuck in that state. If you fully enter into THANKFULNESS, you
are in a new state, which will lead into even more powerful new states for you.

Lesson 47: “And you will start with Abraham. And you'll come out in the end
and the end as we are told is Jesus. (Quoting Jesus) Abraham rejoiced that he
was to see my day. He saw it and was glad. (The crowds said to Jesus) And you
know our father, Abraham, well your not yet 50 years old and how could you
know Abraham? Or how could Abraham know you? Yet before Abraham was, I
am.” - Neville Goddard

Neville quotes Jesus in this section. How can you “know Abraham”, the father of the
multitudes? You can now know the state of Abraham, by seeing the multitudes,
seeing the end. Seeing the end, the state of the wish fulfilled and not being
concerned with the ways and means – activates an amazing power – the feeling of the
wish fulfilled.

TAKE AWAY: They tried to argue with Jesus, while Jesus was attempting to teach
the truth – the kingdom of God is within, and we are the sons of God, capable of
great miracles. Jesus saw the end, he saw the truth, he saw simply and clearly.
Notice this. How do you argue with your Jesus state and attempt to remain confused
and in conflict? Confusion and conflict are states you can arrest and eliminate. Do
that today.

Lesson 48: “I am - perceived anything that I have ever been. I must receive
whatever I claim that I am. I can say I am before (I am rich) and I must say (it)
because I am rich. Rich is about receiving - I am. Then I can say that I am
wealthy. I create wealth because I am is the only reality. And I create that which
I assume that I am. If I assume that I am this, that, or the other, I create it in my
world.” - Neville Goddard

Richness is about receiving, and wealth is about creation. You were made to create
states – states that create the world you and I live in. So create wonderful and
wealthy states. And feel the richness of them – by allowing yourself to receive only
what you order – what you want.

TAKE AWAY: Neville shared in other lectures in this series, the power of Revision.
Take what you have experienced, the clay of your life and refashion it inside your
mind, inside the wonderful human imagination. Do this daily. Before going to sleep
at night, revise your day to your ideal. Do this daily, and you will discover the great
power that you are, and your life will transform in wonderful ways. But that only
happens when you remember you are the operant power and if you do your feel it real
sessions.

Lesson 49: “Well I can assume it not only for myself, I assume it for another. If
it comes within the framework of the golden rule I will do it. (For example) If
you ask me to say that he has left me in his will, and its a very very big estate,
will you hear from me that he is dead well don't ask it of me. Let someone else
ask it, but don't ask it of me. I could not assume that he died because you are in
his will. No, go to someone else. As someone said, you know, thrift is a
marvellous virtue especially in an ancestor. And so, it is right, well I'll go along
with that, especially an ancestor, but I still don't wish him to die because I am a
descendant or named in his will. I use this technique, this law, and it works
beautifully may I tell you.” - Neville Goddard

The golden rule is your guarantee of wealth, health, and great wisdom. Imagine in
others ONLY what you would imagine for you. Because to imagine anything for
another, to feel it real, you must feel it yourself first.

TAKE AWAY: Neville would imagine wealth for another, but he wouldn't imagine
someone else dying so that they would become wealthy. Notice this powerful lesson
on imagining only GOOD, and also imagining the ideal outcome – without limiting
the means. Imagining the death of the wealthy ancestor would be imagining a limited
means. Imagining wealth would be a more ideal end to hold in mind.

Lesson 50: “Imagining creates reality. Imagining created these eternal states.
And then we go through the states. From Abraham to Jesus. When we come to
Jesus we awake, that is God awakes in you as you. And God is the father of
humanity. Humanity is the son of God, but the son personified as a single being
is David and it comes out as David.

Neville speaks from the state of authority. “Imagining creates reality”. He shares
how we create states in this lecture. He shares how we all evolve through the eternal
Spiritual States. The more you study his works, the more you can find a very
empowering model to live your life by.

TAKE AWAY: Do you truly believe that imagining creates reality? To answer yes,
you have to also define what “reality” is. To Neville, reality is the divine human
imagination, and the physical world is the shadow – a result of what is real. When
you move your evidence point from “what I imagined is now physical (real) to “what
I imagined I fully felt (as real), so now it or something better gets to show up in my
physical experience – you will be expressing the state of NEVILLE more completely.

Lesson 51: “Now the ancients have painted eternity as an old man. It's not an
old man. It's David. Eternity is the eternal youth. I wouldn't care what artists
will tell me, I have seen it and I tell you, eternal youth. It is the personification of
eternity. It's not an old man at all. The ancient of days, yes. The image of his son
and the son, the image of the ancient of days. You are the ancient of days, but the
son and the father are one. I and my father are one. So tonight, you can set
yourself free and set your friends free if you really believe what you have heard.

You are the ancient of days. You are eternal. You are the father, and you are the son.
You can set yourself free, when you realize that you and only you decide what you
will live – embody and represent in life.

TAKE AWAY: Believe what you have read, believe what you have heard. I believe
that you might already, or are very drawn to believe many of the messages here. Life
behaves according to the belief you have. If you believe that it's hard to make money,
then it will be hard for you. If you believe that only bad people are rich, you will
have to become bad to become rich. But the good news is, that you can change what
you believe, so that the life you live is much more enriching, much more rewarding,
and much more your ideal. And it all begins with the wonderful human imagination
– which is the real you.

Lesson 52: “If you believe you can't see the state, you can't see it, but it is
personified, if you saw in your imagination. Everything in this world is a state,
and if you saw it in imagination, you'll see a person. You may call this one
Moses, call that one Abraham, call that one Jacob call this one Peter, all these
are states. Pilot, Pontious Pilot, that's a state.” - Neville Goddard

Remember, if you believe that you can't, you can't. And if you believe you can, you
invite in the capacity to – this applies to everything in life. Once you decide to wake
up, the process begins. We have been given these wonderful stories in scripture, so
we can believe – so that we can try on and try out new states.

TAKE AWAY: What new state will you try on and try out today? Will it be the
limited one of society, or a limited one of your programming or past? Or will it be
one of the eternal spiritual states?

Lesson 53: “All these are states from beginning to end. Its not secular history.
And when you come out, you are beyond it all. That you went through the gamut
and you bore the father with the allotted time. You took that burden upon you
and as Paul said in the end, I fought the good fight. I finished the race. I have
kept the faith. Henceforth, there's laid up for me the crown of righteousness.” -
Neville Goddard

Neville says, you went through the gamut and in the end “you are beyond it all”. You
explored every state you chose to, and you emerge knowing that you are beyond all
of them. You give birth to “the father”.

TAKE AWAY: Notice how many times Neville reminds us that you are greater than
ANY state, because you are the I AM that can experience ANY state. Remember
this, it is the ultimate act of forgiveness, of letting go.
Lesson 54: “Therefore let no one bother me, for I now wear on my body the
marks of Jesus. Everything is on him now, because that's the very end of the
journey. When you awaken, and (it is) said it pleased God, to reveal his son in
me. When the son is revealed in you, then you are God because the son reveals
you as the father and God is the father. But it takes the son, no one but the son
can reveal the father. And until David comes, you will never know God. (Until
then) You will not really know him, you will worship him, something of the
outside. “ - Neville Goddard

Worshipping anything on the outside happens when you decide that you will be
happy AFTER you have a million dollars, or a new car, or a new partner. On the
other hand, you can choose and embody the state of happiness, wealth, and
confidence or any empowering state RIGHT NOW. To do that, you have to realize
your power of “Father”, the power that allows you to create states and live from
them.

TAKE AWAY: Any time you say, “I am X”, you are proclaiming what you are, you
are defining your state and your experience. Choose now to be confident, happy,
wealthy, creative, purposeful – and all the physical things you want will more easily
become a part of your life.

Lesson 55: “(People say) there is an over soul or some impersonal force or
something of that nature. (I say) No, God is the father and he has a son.
Humanity is his son, but humanity, collectively, fused into one single being
personified, comes out as the eternal youth, David. I mean David of biblical
fame, the great psalmist, who's father in scripture is called Jesse. And Jesse
means, Jehovah exists. That's what the word actually means. So Jehovah exists.
You exist, don't you. You know that you are. Yet this very moment you suffer
from amnesia. You will still know that you are. You may not know who you are
and where you are and what you are, but you know that you are. So Jehovah
exists. And then comes the awakening of this being who fell asleep in the
beginning. This whole thing is the dream of God. God himself aimed at death's
door, the human skull, that's the holy sepulchre. And (he) laid down in the grave
and he dreamt this dream. And in the end, he will awake and you are God.
Completely individualized and yet, you are God. The same thing will happen to
everyone, everyone is going to see David and therefore, that will show the unity
of humanity.” - Neville Goddard

Neville says that you will awake, and that you are one with God. This will happen to
everyone. When you awaken to what you are, and forget what you are not, you will
realize you are the Father of all the states you have experienced, and you are the
Father who gives birth to all in his life.
TAKE AWAY: When you stop blaming circumstance for holding you back, you
won't be held back any more by the false Gods of circumstance. You are held and
held back by the states that you create. Choose the states that hold you, shape your
experience, and create your experience of reality.

Lesson 56: “For all will be the father of David. Well, you can't be the father of
my son and not be the very being himself that is the father of that son. If you're
the father of my son, then you and I are one. So this is the story of scripture.” -
Neville Goddard

We are one. That is the story of scripture, the experience of the mystic. Native
Americans lived knowing there is one spirit that moves within all things. New
Thought teaches, that there is one mind – many people call it the subconscious or the
superconsciousness. Allow yourself to entertain the concept of oneness, drop the
illusion of separation for a bit, and embrace the insights you discover. This is easy to
do, any time you realize that you and those around you are not the states that are
being embodied, and that you are I AM-NESS.

TAKE AWAY: How many hints have you been given, reminding you of our
“individualized oneness”? This one nature that runs through all life, through all
humanity?

Lesson 57: “A man takes the platform, and he has had no vision, he's never had
a vision. And when you tell him of your visions, he laughs at you. Because to
him, this is secular history and he's waiting on his little Jesus to come on the
outside, and he hopes that he would come soon, that I'll be here to meet him and
greet him. Put my hand into his and shake it. But he'll wait forever if he wants
that kind of a Jesus because there is no such Jesus. You'll wait forever to find
these characters on the outside. They are all within. And when he (actually) finds
Jesus, when Jesus comes, he comes from within. And he awakens within, as the
one in whom he awakens. That's the coming of Jesus. That's the perusha spoken
of in scripture.” - Neville Goddard

If you choose to share your first hand experiences with the world, your vision –
people may laugh at you, they may doubt you. Neville had a direct experience of the
spiritual states – including the state of Jesus.

TAKE AWAY: The aboriginals called the time when the body slept “dream time”. It
was considered just as real as “awake time”. Neville had many spiritual experiences,
shamanic episodes and visions that shaped his life, and that have blessed the lives of
many. Pay attention to your dreams, invite your imagination to explore the world of
your ideal, and you'll notice that, “God speaks to you in dreams and visions”.

Lesson 58: “It's not the end of the world, it's the end of the individuals journey
that's when he comes. So God himself came and comes into human history in the
person of Jesus. In you, in me, in everyone. So he's continually coming so if I see
it now, as it really must be seen.” - Neville Goddard

The ego resists you exploring “indivudualized oneness”. Oneness with what is.
Often awakening to the more expansive states of self feels like the end of the world,
because the ego considers them threatening.

TAKE AWAY: Any time you notice or have a glimpse of your true nature – that you
are beyond ANY STATE - the old world (and it's tribulations) passes away, and your
experience of life and peace expands. We are awakening to the kingdom within.

Lesson 59: “I see a play in eternity and the play is with out reference to its
position in time. Without reference to it’s duration, without reference to it’s
repetition. It's like a standing order, something to be done absolutely and
continuously and that play going on in eternity. And it's actually unfolding itself
within man who is in time. So here in time, while we are in time, the play erupts
and then I know exactly who I am. I was taught to believe the whole thing took
place 2000 years ago, then to discover it isn't so at all. It has no reference to
position in time and no reference as to duration.” - Neville Goddard

This is the play of awakening, and each of us gets to play the different roles,
assuming the different states as we awaken. Remember, Neville's explanation of his
experience is that the people referenced in scripture never did exist, that they only are
characters that represent the states.

TAKE AWAY: You can still pass through the states, and create life changing states –
if you believe that the people in the bible actually existed – and that they also
represented specific spiritual states we pass through and learn from. (Personal
experience of the author.)

Lesson 60: “It's a standing order, something to be done absolutely and

continuously and it's always being done within us. And then we move out of the
time slot into eternity. Enhanced beyond the wildest dream of man by reason of
the experience in this world of death.” - Neville Goddard

The nature of the play is impersonal. Each individualized person passes through the
states. That is why the play is a standing order.
TAKE AWAY: As you awaken – as you pass through the Spiritual States, you can
study the lives and stories of the people represented in scripture for guidance and for
support. This makes the bible a great resource – no matter what your religion or
religious background.

Lesson 61: “So these are the states. And you can forgive every being, every
being in this world, if you could only discriminate between the individual and
the state he occupies. Take him out of the state and put him into another state.
And he puts him (self) into another state he expresses the contents of that state
and will completely forget he was ever in the other.” - Neville Goddard

There is the act, and there is the actor. You are the actor. You are not the state / the
act. The more you realize that, the less you will find yourself stuck in undesired
states, and the more effectively you will be able to help those around you.

TAKE AWAY: You are consciousness, the animating power, the spark behind the
eyes. You are not the states that you pass through or buy into. You can change states
at any time. Remember this when you need “forgiveness”, when you feel it is time to
move you or another into a more powerful and pleasing state.

Lesson 62: “The great writers have seen it, but if they haven’t had vision they
write in fable, and they will simply mix it up. But when you write from
experience of actual vision. If you've experienced it, you may not have the talent
of a Shakespeare, but you're telling exactly what happened to you and that's
vision. When I speak of vision, I do not mean to stand here and think of my
home. I see it in my minds eye that's not vision. Vision is just like this (here and
now). If this is vision, when these things happen to me is just like this. I'm in a
world just as real as I am here now.” - Neville Goddard

Neville's imaginal world had the same sensations and emotions in it that his physical
world did. A sensation is what your hand feels like, when you catch an imaginary
ball. The emotion is how happy and relieved you are – that you have caught it.
Seeing it through your minds eye, would be seeing it THROUGH your own eyes.
Seeing past the brim of your ball cap, to see the ball getting bigger as it gets closer to
you. THAT feels real.

TAKE AWAY: Build in the emotions and sensations you need in your Feel It Real
Sessions. See the world through your own idealized eyes. If you see your full body
in your session – you are seeing as a spectator – and seeing as a spectator tends to
create emotional distance between you and your ideal.

Lesson 63: “It is not anything that is vapor or thinking of something. I'm
thinking from it. The whole thing is right before me, the child, solid and real,
David, solid and real, the splitting of the body from top to bottom, the dove
descending upon my head, upon my hand and coming to my face, then kissing
me. All these things are real just like this, that's vision. Hasn't a thing to do with
what the world calls hallucination and those who can't even spell their name,
will tell you you're hallucinating. You ask me to define it for you.” - Neville
Goddard

Thinking about something or fantasizing about something feels very different than
fully feeling it real. Thinking about a baseball game is like watching it on television.
Thinking FROM a baseball game, has you on the field, seeing that ball getting bigger
and bigger and bigger before it hits your glove. Real experiences, shamanic or
physical feel real.

TAKE AWAY: Imagine seeing and holding a tennis ball. Now imagine seeing and
holding a base ball. Notice how different they are from each other. Exercises like
this will help you explore your imaginal senses and awaken them more.

Lesson 64: “(I say) Tell me exactly what you mean, and he’s all silent. (They)
Mumble mumble mumble. (They say) That was a marvellous hallucination.
And those (people that say these things) tell me they don't even dream. (On the
other hand), I'm telling you what I have experienced. I have reached the end.
The whole thing is now an accomplished fact within me. He in the depth of my
own being who revealed himself as myself has rotted, the very end of the 22nd
psalm. Unborn tomorrow will know that God has rotted in him no praise to me
as a man called Neville, so what.” - Neville Goddard

Neville doesn't consider moving through the states and getting to the end an
accomplishment. He considers it an awakening, a universal experience. Notice he
wants no praise, no ego.

TAKE AWAY: When creating a specific state becomes an experience to be enjoyed

and not an accomplishment that puffs up the ego – you will find state creation comes
much easier. Same with the spiritual states. We move through them as we awaken.
One state is not “better than” then next. The spiritual states are the states we pass
through naturally, as we awaken. A series of states is like a human life. We have the
state of the baby, the next a child, then a young adult, and finally like an elder. They
are sequential, as we awaken.

Lesson 65: “But the drama unfolded himself completely within me. Now I speak
from experience when I speak of these characters in scripture. And so I can not
get down on my knees and bow before anyone, named in that book. They are all
eternal states of consciousness and you are the important one. You as you sit
here, when you say I AM that is the God of the Universe. That is the God passing
through these states. And eventually he will come out in the end as the Lord; the
father of humanity who is David. That is the son.” - Neville Goddard

Any time you raise anyone up on a pedestal, you raise them above you, and you
block your own awakening. You will pass through a series of states, represented by
the characters in scripture. Passing through them is like passing through cities. As
you move from one city to the next, none of them are better than the others. They are
simply states / cities you pass through as you head toward your final destination /
awakening. You are greater than ALL the states, you are what can embody any state.

TAKE AWAY: You are consciousness, on the adventure of a lifetime. Beyond all
states. Notice this.

Lesson 66: “So when you meet someone as you go through life, and they need
help, it doesn't cost you anything other than one little moment in the exercise of
your talent which is the gift of God to you, which is himself, which is your own
wonderful human imagination.” - Neville Goddard

Helping others, by creating new states for them is great fun, and great practice. It is
often easier to help other people at first, so do it. It will give you the skills and
detachment you need – to change your own states.

TAKE AWAY: Every time you help another, your remembrance of your true nature
becomes stronger. You don't become stronger, but in effect – you become more
powerful – because you are not identifying as much with states – and remembering
that you are consciousness – the operant power.

Lesson 67: “And you simply create him in your minds eye whether he be 10,000
miles away, you bring him into your minds eye and see him as he would like to
be seen by the world. And you see him as you would like to see him. And you’ll
carry on a mental conversation with him from the premise that he is now
already the one he wants to be and to the degree that you are self-persuaded that
he is that, he becomes that.” - Neville Goddard

Neville shares his simple step by step formula here. Seeing him as you would like to
see him, as his ideal. (You can see HIS body in this kind of session – in a scene that
implies the wish has been fulfilled – because that is what you would see naturally
with you own eyes. Follow this with a imaginary conversation with him in your
mind, that implies the wish fulfilled. The power of mental conversations is amazing –
in both transforming your life, and the lives around you. We share 7 thought
experiments based on our work with Creative Conversations in PTSD FREE, that you
might find very fun and powerful. Here is the link to read the introduction free:

http://www.innercircleproducts.com/ptsd-free/

TAKE AWAY: How would your world change – if you only imagined powerful and
empowering conversations with those you love? (There is only one way to find out.)
So do it and have fun!

Lesson: 68: “You don't have to raise one finger to make it so. You plant the
seed. What do you do after you plant the seed? You leave it. You don't dig it up
every morning to see if it has a root, you leave it. A seed must fall into the ground
and die before it is made alive. And if it dies (to being just a seed), it bears much
fruit and so you put it into the seed into the ground of your own wonderful
human imagination.” - Neville Goddard

Feel it real until it feels fully real. Some people can do this in a single session.
Sometimes it takes a few sessions. And once you feel it real, and you feel the relief
of knowing it is real – get on with your daily life. Leave the seed alone, and let it do
it's job.

TAKE AWAY: “You don't have to raise one finger to make it so.” You will feel a
knowing, that it is done. This doesn't mean that you don't have to do anything.
Neville saw himself out of the ARMY, but he still had to fill out the paperwork.
Neville saw himself as a great minister, effecting countless lives. He still had to give
his lessons from the stage. The key is you don't have to do anything to MAKE it
happen, but you (your body more accurately) may get to participate in the
transformation.

Lesson 69: “Now bear in mind the vision has it's own appointed hour. It ripens.
It will flower. If it be long, wait for it. It is sure and it will not be late. Not for
that seed. One seed may take 24 hours. Another may take like a hens egg, 21
days. A little lamb takes 5 months, a horse takes a year, human beings 9 months.
So each seed has its own appointed hour. So don't be concerned.” - Neville
Goddard

People ask us if we should put a date on what we have wished for? Putting a date on
it is IMPOSSIBLE, if you feel it fully as real now. This is why you imagine a scene
that would IMPLY that the wish has ALREADY been fulfilled. I would imagine
reviewing my successful fights as a karate expert - with my trainers – AFTER
bringing home the trophy. This implied that the fights went well, I took the trophy,
and that I got the results that I wanted. (All that, was done in imagination, before
competing.)

TAKE AWAY: Ask yourself, “What scene can I FEEL AS REAL that implies the
wish has been completely fulfilled?” Construct that scene, make it part of
something that IS DONE in your life. The feeling of “it is done” removes all need for
dates.

Lesson 70: “You did the work, all you need do is simply leave it alone and don't
raise one finger to make it so and don't discuss it with anyone else or with the
one who asked it of you. If they keep on bothering you in saying about when,
don't answer them. You planted it, you did what they asked you to do and that's
all that you can do. If they are anxious about it, then let them bring about their
own mental miscarriage. What do you do after pregnancy, there's no such thing
as a little pregnancy. Pregnancy and then in the fullness of time the child is born.
So in the fullness of time what you did in your imagination will be born. So leave
it alone.” - Neville Goddard

Mental miscarriage is possible – if you feel anxiety. Anxiety means that you haven't
fully felt it as real, and are not currently walking in the state of the wish fulfilled.
Eliminate this with your sessions. Notice if you are reacting to the world FROM
your ideal state – as the ideal you. If you are not, then stop, enter into that state so
fully that YOUR IDEAL YOU is what reacts to the world. Embody the state of the
wish fulfilled.

TAKE AWAY: You can do Feel It Real sessions – constructing a state that implies
that you have mastered the methods we share here and in the other books in this
series. Feeling yourself as having mastered the material here will amplify your
results.

Lesson 71: “Every imaginal act grows into a fact. So, go about knowing that
there only states in this world, and you, the immortal you, can not die. I'm
telling you from my own personal experience, you can not die. Cut off your head
now, you will find yourself restored to life in a terrestrial world, just like this and
have no knowledge that you died to those here. Because you're not dead.
Because a man is not dead, he knows he didn't die. And it is the most difficult
thing to persuade anyone, that they died. I've tried it several times. Stepping out
of this garment, into this world, a world just like this meeting friends I know
intimately. “ - Neville Goddard

Neville states, the immortal you can not die. If you begin to live your life from this
premise, much of what you have feared will simply melt away, and you can enjoy
with greater ease the gifts life has to offer you. Notice how Neville shares that “the
dead” know they aren't dead, and how they don't remember dying.

TAKE AWAY: Every major religion states that we live on after the body dies. What
if you stopped fearing the death of the physical body? What states would you choose
to create then? How would your thinking around evolving through the Spiritual
States change?

Lesson 72: (Referring to people Neville experienced after they had died.)
“Friends whose funeral I went to. Others, I saw them a month before they died.
They knew it was terminal, that they were gonna die. I meet them and they are
40 years younger. And you can't persuade them that something happened in
their world and that they died because (they think) you are crazy.” - Neville
Goddard

Neville says we never lose our individual nature, yet we are one with God. He also
shared in this lecture that we become even more individualized as we pass through
the states. It is easy to see that the longer we are alive, the more varied our
experience becomes, by us creating states to explore and to reside in.

TAKE AWAY: You are challenging your paradigms and programming, with direct
experience. Awakening from the fables, and embracing the power of first person
experience. Use what you learn here. Don't replace your old fables with new ones.
Replace them with direct experience, and liberation will be yours.

Lesson 73: “(They say) how can you say I died when I'm alive? I'm not dead. (I
say to them) You say you're not dead, but you died. Well that's an insane
statement to the average mind. So what can you do? Leave them alone until they
pass through the states and in the end they will awake. But your not gonna crow,
you tell them, in the end if what you tell them is true, they will know it's true.
Because not one word of scripture will be broken. Not one bone is broken. It's
the revealed truth and revealed truth is the body of God and not one of his bones
can be broken. All will be fulfilled.” - Neville Goddard

Not one word of scripture will be broken. All will be fulfilled. You can experience
all the Spiritual States as you awaken. You may not remember them all in this
lifetime, but you can experience them all.

TAKE AWAY: You get to experience or witness all the states – so that you can detach
from all the states – and remember your true nature as consciousness.
Lesson 74: “It will do you a great deal of good if you would bear in mind when
you meet anyone he is only in a state. If he's in a state of arrogance, all right, let
him be. You don't have to actually play his little part for him. If he wants to feel
that he's important because of the accident of birth or the money that he's
acquired let him be. You go about your own wonderful way.” - Neville Goddard

Don't let anyone upset you, when they confuse states with what they are. If they
think they are better than you, because they are in a particular state – let them be.
They will awaken in time, in perfect timing.

TAKE AWAY: You don't have to play a smaller part – just because someone is
playing an inflated part. You are consciousness, and you can choose the part you
play.

Lesson 75: “So here tonight, if I've taken from you the historicity of scripture I
haven't robbed you because it isn't historically true anyway. You can search
from now till the ends of time and you'll find no evidence to support the
historicity of the bible. Twice a myth made a tremendous effort. Albert
Schweitzer he came to the conclusion there is no historicity of Christ. He named
his book, "In Search of the Historical (Jesus) Christ.' He is an honest man. A
humble, simple, wonderful scholar. Albert Schweitzer. It is not because about
what he said, I'm telling you what I've experienced and you never find any so
called burial place of David or Abraham or Jacob in near east no matter what
archaeologist bring in. They are eternal states. They are in the consciousness of
the individual.” - Neville Goddard

I would hope that our exploration of this lecture will give you the gifts that it has
given us. The more you explore it, and embody it's lessons, the more gifts you will
be sure to find.

Neville shares that each individual in scripture represents a spiritual state that you get
to pass through. That is an amazing teaching, considering when we read about their
lives, and the lives of the other characters in scripture – we have been given a
guidebook that helps us on the path we all are on. You don't have to believe that they
never lived, but it is very empowering to realize that every one of them, represents a
state that you get to move through as you awaken.

TAKE AWAY: As you come to the end of this part of the Neville Goddard simplified
series, we hope that you take the time to more fully explore the world of Neville, and
the world of experience that is available for you. You can feel free to email us any
time at 2020@exhostage.com – and let us know how these works bless and benefit
your life. Feel free to share your experiences with others, because that is how many
of us find these works, people care enough to show others the way.
WEEKLY WORKOUT

Here are 7 activities you can do, one for each day of the week, that will help you get
the full impact of the lessons contained in this book.

Monday: Remember, you are not the states you pass through, or the states you
reside in. Take a few moments, and just notice “you are consciousness” today. Just
notice that YOU notice – your thoughts – your world – your decision process. And
notice that you are PURE CONSCIOUSNESS – capable of identifying with any state
or with any thing in your world. Bonus points if you do this three times today.

Tuesday: Create a new state for a friend. Use the golden rule. See them as their
ideal, or as an ideal you would love to have for them. Do this, instead of feeling
sorry for them, or accepting them as they are. It takes just a few moments, and if felt
fully as real – could change their life.

Wednesday: Explore what your life would be like – if you truly knew you are
immortal. What if the real you (consciousness) never, ever could die? Notice your
decision process today, and make at least 3 decisions – knowing that you live forever
– knowing that death is not to be feared, because it is just a doorway into another
experience of life.

Thursday: Open up the bible and pick a character to learn from. Read their story,
imagine coming from their state. What would your life be like, if you were
Abraham, or David, or Peter? Pick someone, try them on, see through their eyes and
find out. Keeping a journal might be fun for bonus points.

Friday: Today is vision or fable day. Notice the people around you. Are they
sharing from experience (the power of vision) or are they repeating and living out
fable (what they have been told is true by others – who have most likely been told by
others still, that something was true). Notice the difference between living from
fable (theory) and vision (experience). Bonus points if you discover when you are
living from fable or living from experience and choose to live more from experience.

Saturday: Order what you want from the menu of life. No matter how outrageous it
might seem to others. Neville wanted clams for breakfast, so he ordered and he got
what he wanted, clams. Do this inside your imagination. Do it in the physical
world. Make a request that others might find out of the ordinary. If you do this in the
physical world, it seems to become even easier in the imaginal realms.

Sunday: Rest. Feel the feelings of gratitude and relief today. Those are the two
universal feelings that are part of the state of ANY wish fulfilled. When you know,
“it is done”, you feel relief – you are thankful. Allow yourself to feel those feelings
today. You can stop and do this any time you feel challenged. You can simply stop
and ask yourself, “what do I feel thankful for now”. Have fun and enjoy.

IMAGINAL ACTS BECOME FACTS (UNEDITED) – NEVILLE GODDARD

Tonight, we will discuss states. When we open the bible and read the story that is
given to us, you may think they're talking about people that lived, individuals,
persons as we are. But it's not so. The characters depicted in the bible are not the
individuals named. They are simply states signified by those names.

For instance the name, Moses or the name Abraham or the name - or any name that
you find in scripture. They are not individuals as you and I are. They simply are a
state of consciousness through which the individual, you and I, the immortal being -
we pass through these states.

The word MOSES means to be born. It's the old perfective of the Egyptian verb to be
born. Abraham, the father of the multitudes. We start there. Moving through states
and you and I pass through states towards our own redemption. We come to the end
and that state is personified in scripture and men take the personification and worship
it as a person - stick it on the wall, and then cross themselves before it and genuflect
not knowing that these are states.

So we must learn to distinguish between states and the individuals who pass through
these states. These states are eternal they are forever. You are an immortal being. And
you move through states, the states remain, permanent forever. You pass on. We
change states, the states do not change. We change states, but we the individual, we
are forever. It is like moving through a city. The city remains, but we pass on. To
think that because we have left the city that the city has ceased to exist would be
stupid.

The city remains and we go on. We pass from one state to another state and finally we
come to the end. That end is described in scripture as Jesus. Well that's a state. You
are the immortal being passing through states and when you come to the very end,
you are in that state. It was predetermined. It was shown all of us before we started.
Shown us in the state called Abraham. We saw it all in detail and if we entered it
reluctantly or not, who knows.

Paul tells us that we were made subject unto futility not willingly, but by the will of
him who subjected us in hope and the hope was that we would obtain the glorious
liberty of the sons of God. So we were told it was not all together a willing subjection
on our part, but we kept the divine vision as Paul would say "In time of trouble." And
so we continue on the journey.

In this world you and I can create states, but the spiritual states are eternal. We create
a state here, it's not eternal. we create a state to deliver individuals for evermore I
create a state if somebody asks me. Will you hear that I am and they name what they
would like to be. Alright, so that I must create the state knowing that he is now in a
state that he dislikes. I must distinguish between the being and the state that he is in.
So I see him unemployed and alright, he wants to be gainfully employed. There's
nothing wrong with that.

So I represent him to myself as one who is gainfully employed. Who has more than
he's ever had before. To the degree that I am self-persuaded that he is what I have
now imagined him to be. To that degree he will actually become it. I move him out of
one state into another. But that state into which he fell, remains for anyone to fall into
it and all can fall into it at the same time for that matter. He's not the only occupant of
the state of being unemployed. There could be millions being unemployed and there
could be millions who desire to be out of it.

Many who are unemployed have no desire to be out of it. They prefer to be on
welfare. That's their desire, perfectly alright. But if someone desires to be gainfully
employed and to leave the state of being unemployed, you and I can create that state.

But how do I create the state? By using my imagination. Imagination is not a state,
it's the human existence himself. You are all imagination and God is all imagination,
you are God. And God is actually within you as your own wonderful human
imagination.

Now these permanent states of the SOUL, these spiritual states they remain, you and
I pass through them towards our own redemption.

But in the interval, you meet a friend and the friend is in need of help and the help is
to move them out of the state. I couldn't give you money, but as Peter would said,
"Silver and Gold have I not for thee, but such as I have, give I unto thee". And he
creates a state and takes the man from being a beggar who's always begging on the
corner and puts him into a state, where he jumps up with joy. He's now employed, not
begging for money. So he didn't give him coins, he simply gave him a new state of
consciousness.

So I take you as an individual I represent you to myself as the one that you would like
to be. The one that I, if I were in your state, would like to be. I'd make it FIT within
what is known as the golden rule - I do unto others as I would have them do unto me.
If I were in that state, would I like to be in some better state? Certainly! Well then, do
it to another.

And so if he asks it of you, you simply represent him to yourself as being gainfully
employed or if he's unwell as being well. Or if he is not, if he wants to be married and
he can't find the proper mate, then in your minds eye, you assume that he has found
the proper mate. What it is that is a normal, natural request that is not in conflict with
your own moral/ethical code.

And you create a state. This state - then you lift your individual into that state. Well
how do I do it? I carry on a conversation mentally with that friend from the basis that
he is in that state. He tells me how happy he is with his new job and how much he is
making. I see him in my minds eye radiant. Well then am I self-persuaded that this
imaginal act is a fact? Do I really believe in the reality of what I've done? Do I
believe that imagining creates reality?

I do, well then, to the degree that I am self-persuaded he becomes the embodiment of
what I have imagined him to be. These are states. So man must distinguish between
the individual and the state that he is in.

So Blake said, "I do not consider the just or the wicked to be in a supreme state, but
to be every one of them States of the sleep into which the soul may fall in it's deadly
dreams of Good and Evil, when it leaves Paradise following the serpent. The serpent
of generations.

So we came down to experience death. For this is the world of death where
everything appears, it waxes, it wanes and it disappears. So everything dies in this
world. No matter how long it seems to be, it dies, eventually. So we come down into
the world of death and the last enemy to be destroyed or to be overcome is death. I
enter death and then conquer death to prove that I can not die.

I am an immortal being beyond all imagination. I can not go to eternal death, in that
which can not die. Which is my own wonderful human imagination and that is God
himself. There is no other God. He actually became as I am that I may be as he is.

So God became man. He's not pretending that he is a man, you can't pretend and
influence anything here. You've got to completely become man and forget you are
God and that's what you've done. You are the God who became humanity, that
humanity may become God.

So these are states. If man knows it, well then he can forgive every being in this
world for what he has done because he only expressed the state into which he
unwittingly fell.

He could fall into the state of being a thief and enjoy that state. He thinks he's doing
fine. That's better than if he went to work every morning and pushed a little button.
He's making more, he thinks he's doing fine. Then comes the inevitable consequences
of that state. Is he willing to pay the price of going into that state, well usually he is
unwilling. He doesn't regret the state, he wonders what did I do wrong to be caught.

There isn’t a thief in this world, who is regretful of the fact that he is a thief? No,
what did I do wrong? So when I do it again, I must be more aware of what I did
formerly that put me into the arms of the law. Their only regretting what they did
wrong. And their trying to find out what they did wrong.

It's a state. So everyone in this world is in a state. If I know that, I can lift him out of
a state if he requests it. I don't go around looking for people to lift them out. If anyone
requests it, it's a very simple technique. You ask of me something I would ask of you
were I in your state. And so, you ask it of me, what does it cost? Nothing. You are
told come, eat, buy wine and milk without money without cost. It costs nothing you
simply create the state and the state that you create, you put your friend into it.

What would it be like if it were true? What would the feeling be like? If he really
could tell me now that he is the man or she is the woman that they would like to be?

Well then persuade myself as they are telling to me. Listen as though I'm hearing
their voice. See them, as though I'm actually seeing them in the flesh and then go my
business. Go about my way, confident that that thing that I did will work.

So Blake said, I had dinner last night with Isaiah and dinner with Ezekiel. I asked
them, that does a firm persuasion that a thing is so - make it so? And they said yes, in
ages of imagination. But today few are capable of an imagination of anything. If you
could actually believe in the reality of your own imaginal act, then these things will
become facts in your world.

But, they are states. Now we said I know that, many people have painted say the
FURIES as three women, we have it in Shakespeare's Macbeth. The three witches, I
have painted them as you know. I painted these as men, three men the FURIES, but
not as three women, but you must remember, that mine is vision and not fable.

So you can sit down to write something and it's fable. It may have a bit of truth in it,
but three are there, yes, but they are not women. In vision you see them as men. Man
can fall into that state of fury. A woman can turn into the state of fury, but when you
see it in imagination they are men. When you see these as characters just as they are
painted in scripture from beginning to end. All of these are states. When you
encounter a state, it looks like a person. When I stood in the presence of Abraham, its
a man, a majestic man, about 6' tall, 6'6. This handsome, wonderful man looking into
the distance. But the distance was not in space, it was in time.

He was looking in to the end of what he saw. He saw the end. And therefore, that end
justified all the means. For when he comes out at the end, he comes out as the author
of the script. He comes out as God himself. And everyone is going to come out as
God.

So we pass through the state called man and we think how miserable we begin and
then we end, and that's it, but it's not so. Everyone comes out in the end as I Am, but I
Am completely awake and that is God. So when you meet all these characters of the
scripture, if they are persons, but you will know if you see all in your minds eye,
they're all states. States personified.

And we have taken the personification for persons. We have taken the gross percent
for the ultimate sense intended. And the vehicle that conveyed the instruction called
the instruction itself. And so man has taken scripture as secular history and it's not
secular history, it's divine history. And these are the eternal states through which all of
us pass.

And when we come to the end, we are Jesus. Now in the interval what seems to be is
to those to whom it seems to be. And it's productive of the most dreadful
consequences to those of whom it seems to be. Even of torments, despair and eternal
debt, but divine mercy steps beyond and redeems man in the body of Jesus. In the end
there's only that final state, Jesus only.

You will fulfil the law, you will fulfil the prophets. How do you fulfil all the prophecy
and all the law for you saw it now differently and you'll fulfil it, in the end, there is
Jesus only. And who is Jesus? The Lord God Jehovah. And you are actually redeemed
in that one body. And you are the Lord God Jehovah. It seems so stupid to tell you,
who have but what, 3 score and 10 years in this little earth of ours, that you are one
with the creator of the universe.

It doesn't make sense. And you're going to say that that man is mad. But I tell you,
from the beginning of time, all men, visionary men, were accounted mad men. For I
see these things, I can't deny them. In my mind I really go see them. I see them in my
imagination that's where I see them. Where did I see David? Where, but in my
imagination. Where did I see the Christ child, the symbol of my birth from above,
had to be in my imagination.

Where do I see these worlds into which I step and talk with people with whom the
world calls dead? I can't persuade them that they died because they are not dead and
so I say ya know you died and they say who's dead? I say, I didn't say you were dead,
I said you died and that doesn't make sense to them and they aren't aware that they
have died because they're not dead. They haven't died. Well I can't deny that they're
not dead. I'm talking to them and their talking to me. And they are flesh and blood
and they are real as we are real. And yet I can't persuade them that they went through
an experience.

That we left behind, (that we) in this section of time, call death. That we buried them,
went to their funerals. They can't believe it because they are not dead. And you are
telling them that they died. And you're telling them that they died and if they died
then they're still dead. How will you talk to it. How can it be actually an animate
body responding intelligently to all that you are saying, when it hasn't died?

Not to itself, but to you, with memory alert you know it died and you are trying to
persuade it, that it has actually moved into another time slot and it's not here. It is an
entirely different time slot. And that time slot need not be consecutive with this.

Say (it is) 1973 when you meet him and he died in '72, no. It could be the year 3000.
3000 is now existing. The Year 1 is existing all of these are still existing and you can
step here and find yourself in the year 1000.

Then that is necessary for your own unfoldment don't think for one moment that
you've outgrown the year 1,000. Take the writers of today, have they outgrown the
year where Shakespeare lived? Then why aren't they writing like Shakespeare? Have
they out grown the beauty of that age. When they translated our ancient scripts into
English and now we have the King James version. That majestic monument to
English literature, well, who's doing it today? Who is writing Shakespeare today? Are
the beetles writing Beethoven? It begin with a B alright but it's not Beethoven. It's not
Bach, it's not Brahms so have we outgrown these great giants? No. That age could be
a far greater age for what they need when they SKIP from here to find themselves
exposed to real music.

Real, wonderful creative things. So it is not a progression one way. All this thing is a
closed theater and it's all closed. You slip off the garment here and you find yourself
awake. It could be in the same time slot beyond this moment, but the chances are it
will not be. Until that very end and when you come to the end, you'll only know
you're at the end when the son of God calls you father.

And you read these stories, the son of God is David. I said unto him, you are my son.
And there it is. So then David stands before you and he calls you father. And you
know he is your son and he knows you are his father. Then you have reached the end.
The end is the complete awakening of your own wonderful human imagination.
That's what the whole vast world aches for. The awakening of God within them. And
God within man is man's on wonderful human imagination. That's God. So we have
the permanent spiritual states of the soul, through which the individual passes to his
redemption.
And then we have states that you and I create to deliver men from their present state
into which they've fallen. So we fall a state of being not wanted and feeling sorry for
ourselves, that's only a state. The individual in that state is one with the individual
who sits on the throne. There's only one God so that I is the same.

Now may I tell you, there is no loss of identity. You will never lose your identity. It
will never cease to be and it will never change. You are NOT absorbed; you are an I
and that same I is that sum sense of awareness and forever and forever you are
individualized.

And you'll change forever towards other greater and greater individualization. There's
no absorption in this, yet you are that one. And you are passing through these states
towards the awakening of that one and you are that one. But these states, told as
persons in scripture you pass through them. When you come to the end you come
right in to David. David is the resultant state of your journey from Abraham to Jesus.

He is the resultant state for when you reach the end, you awake as the Lord and he
has a son and the son is David and David is the symbol of humanity. You have gone
through the entire gamut of man and I may I tell you if you know your scripture
everything, every crime in the world possible to man is described in the bible openly.
There isn't a crime, you name it, that is not described in the bible openly. Man goes
through them. He doesn't have to - he can discriminate and not fall into one if he
knows they are states. But you sit down and you listen to a certain story a man who is
prejudiced and he poisons in your mind and you fall into that state and accept his
prejudiced mind. And then you're going to pay the price of that prejudice, eventually
you will.

You don't have to accept it, you are going to arrest it. You don’t say, bring me what
the chef wants to get rid of tonight. (You say), bring me a menu and then you order.
Maybe he has only that one order that you want. No one else wants it, but you want
it. I go in to arrest it. I was in New York city a few years ago it was early I grant you.
it was only 11 in the morning and I had no breakfast, it was brunch. I took some
friends into the Hilton hotel. I went to this bourbon room. Well it was Sunday and I
don't dress up for Sunday, I went in with an open shirt.

Well, NY hasn't quite caught on to California when it comes to wear. And so the head
waiter all stuffy and he said button up in this very very heavy accent. Well I have an
accent to so I couldn't criticise him. But here he is with his very very heavy accent
and he's criticising my appearance because I had on a jacket, yes, but my shirt was
open at the neck and I am taking five people into brunch. So I buttoned up the color
and he gave me a table off the wing not to be seen by those who were coming with
ties and shirts.
And then I said, alright, I want clams. The waiter that took my order said, clams? I
said yes, I want clams. I don't want bacon and eggs and I don't want the usual
breakfast, you think you're going to serve everyone. I want clams for breakfast. Bring
me clams. He delayed and delayed and then finally he brought the clams and I said,
come back here please. This isn't charity, I'm paying for it. Bring me, I want some
horseradish and a little Tabasco sauce. Reluctantly, he goes and he gets that. That's
what I wanted, I'm paying for it.

Well, in life you do the same thing. You don't just go in and say throw me a tie. You
select one from maybe 100. A silly little thing that you put on your neck, but you still
want one tie and you want to pick it out. The same thing is true of these states. Don't
let anyone poison you and pull you into a state because you're going to pay the price
of that state. You're only moving through states, but there are a permanent fixed
number of states. And the bible records them. Every character in that bible is a state.

And you will start with Abraham. And you'll come out on the end and the end as we
are told is Jesus. Abraham rejoiced that he was to see my day. He saw it and was glad.
And you know our father, Abraham, well your not yet 50 years old and how could
you know Abraham? Or how could Abraham know you? Yet before Abraham was, I
am.

I am - perceived anything that I have ever been. I must receive whatever I claim that I
am. I can say I am before and I must say because I am rich. Rich is about receiving I
am. Then I can say that I am wealthy. I create wealth because I am is the only reality.
And I create that which I assume that I am. If I assume that I am this that or the other,
I create it in my world.

Well I can assume it not only for myself, I assume it for another. If it comes within
the framework of the golden rule I will do it. If you ask me to say that he has left me
in his will, and its a very very big estate, will you hear from me that he is dead well
don't ask it of me. Let someone else ask it, but don't ask it of me. I could not assume
that he died because you are in his will. No, go to someone else. As someone said,
you know, thrift is a marvellous virtue especially in an ancestor.

And so, it is right, well I'll go along with that especially an ancestor, but I still don't
wish him to die because I am a descendant or named in his will. I use this technique,
this law, and it works beautifully may I tell you.

Imagining creates reality. Imagining created these eternal states. And then we go
through the states. From Abraham to Jesus. When we come to Jesus we awake, that is
God awakes in you as you. And God is the father of humanity. Humanity is the son of
God, but the son personified as a single being is David and it comes out as David.
Now the ancients have painted eternity as an old man. It's not an old man. It's David.
Eternity is the eternal youth. I wouldn't care what artists will tell me, I have seen it
and I tell you, eternal youth. It is the personification of eternity.

It's not an old man at all. The ancient of days, yes. The image of his son and the son
the image of the ancient of days. You are the ancient of days, but the son and the
father are one. I and my father are one. So tonight, you can set yourself free and set
your friends free if you really believe what you have heard.

If you believe you can't see the state, you can't see it, but it is personified, if you saw
in your imagination. Everything in this world a state and if you saw it in imagination,
you'll see a person. You may call this one Moses, call that one Abraham, call that one
Jacob call this one Peter, all these are states. Pilot, Pontious Pilot, that's a state.

All these are states from beginning to end. Its not secular history. And when you
come out, you are beyond it all. That you went through the gamut and you bore the
father with the allotted time. You took that burden upon you and as Paul said in the
end, I fought the good fight. I finished the race. I have kept the faith. Henceforth
there's laid up for me the crown of righteousness.

Therefore let no one bother me, for I now wear on my body the marks of Jesus.
Everything is on him now because that's the very end of the journey. When you
awaken, and said it pleased God, to reveal his son in me. When the son is revealed in
you then you are God because the son reveals you as the father and God is the father.

But it takes the son, no one but the son can reveal the father. And until David comes,
you will never know God. You will not really know him, you will worship him,
something of the outside.

(People say) there is an over soul or some impersonal force or something of that
nature. (I say) No, God is the father and he has a son. Humanity is his son, but
humanity, collectively, fused into one single being personified comes out as the
eternal youth, David. I mean David of biblical fame, the great psalmist, who's father
in scripture is called Jesse. And Jesse means, Jehovah exists. That's what the word
actually means. So Jehovah exists. You exist, don't you. You know that you are. Yet
this very moment you suffer from amnesia. You will still know that you are. You may
not know who you are and where you are and what you are, but you know that you
are. So Jehovah exists. And then comes the awakening of this being who fell asleep in
the beginning. This whole thing is the dream of God. God himself aimed at death's
door the human skull, that's the holy sepulchre. And laid down in the grave and he
dreamt this dream. And in the end, he will awake and you are God. Completely
individualized and yet, you are God. The same thing will happen to everyone,
everyone is going to see David and therefore, that will show the unity of humanity.
For all will be the father of David. Well, you can't be the father of my son and not be
the very being himself that is the father of that son. If you're the father of my son,
then you and I are one. So this is the story of scripture.

A man takes the platform, he has, he has no vision, he's never had a vision. And when
you tell him of your visions, he laughs at you. Because to him, this is secular history
and he's waiting on his little Jesus to come on the outside, and he hopes that he would
come soon that I'll be here to meet him and greet him. Put my hand into his and shake
it.

But he'll wait forever if he wants that kind of a Jesus because there is no such Jesus.
You'll wait forever to find these characters on the outside. They are all within. And
when he finds Jesus, when Jesus comes, he comes from within. And he awakens
within as the one in whom he awakens. That's the coming of Jesus. That's the perusha
spoken of in scripture.

It's not the end of the world, it's the end of the individuals journey that's when he
comes. So God himself came and comes into human history in the person of Jesus. In
you, in me, in everyone. So he's continually coming so if I see it now, as it really
must be seen.

I see a play in eternity and the play is with out reference to its position in time.
Without reference to it’s duration, without reference to it’s repetition. It's like a
standing order, something to be done absolutely and continuously and that play going
on in eternity.

And it's actually unfolding itself within man who is in time. So here in time, while we
are in time, the play erupts and then I know exactly who I am. I was taught to believe
the whole thing took place 2000 years ago then to discover it isn't so at all. It has no
reference to position in time and no reference as to duration.

It's a standing order, something to be done absolutely and continuously and it's
always being done within us. And then we move out of the time slot into eternity.
Enhanced beyond the wildest dream of man by reason of the experience in this world
of death.

So these are the states. And you can forgive every being every being in this world, if
you could only discriminate between the individual and the state he occupies. Take
him out of the state and put him into another state. And he puts him into another state
he expresses the contents of that state and will completely forget he was ever in the
other.
The great writers have seen it, but if they haven’t had vision they write in fable, and
they will simply mix it up. But when you write from experience of actual vision. If
you've experienced it, you may not have the talent of a Shakespeare, but you're telling
exactly what happened to you and that's vision. When I speak of vision, I do not
mean to stand here and think of my home. I see it in my minds eye that's not vision.
Vision is just like this - If this is vision, when these things happen to me is just like
this. I'm in a world just as real as I am here now.

It is not anything that is vapour or thinking of something. I'm thinking from it. The
whole thing is right before me, the child, solid and real, David, solid and real, the
splitting of the body from top to bottom, the dove descending upon my head, upon
my hand and coming to my face, then kissing me. All these things are real just like
this, that's vision. Hasn't a thing to do with what the world calls hallucination and
those who can't even spell their name, will tell you you're hallucinating. You ask me
to define it for you.

Tell me exactly what you mean, and he’s all silent. Mumble mumble mumble. That
was a marvellous hallucination and those tell me they don't even dream. I'm telling
you what I have experienced. I have reached the end. The whole thing is now an
accomplished fact within me. He in the depth of my own being who revealed himself
as myself has rotted, the very end of the 22nd psalm.
Unborn tomorrow will know that God has rotted in him no praise to me as a man
called Neville, so what. But the drama unfolded himself completely within me. Now I
speak from experience when I speak of these characters in scripture. And so I can not
get down on my knees and bow before anyone, named in that book. They are all
eternal states of consciousness and you are the important one. You as you sit here,
when you say I AM that is the God of the Universe. That is the God passing through
these states. And eventually he will come out in the end as the Lord; the father of
humanity who is David. That is the son.

So when you meet someone as you go through life, and they need help, it doesn't cost
you anything other than one little moment in the exercise of your talent which is the
gift of God to you which is himself, which is your own wonderful human
imagination.

And you simply create him in your minds eye whether he be 10,000 miles away, you
bring him into your minds eye and see him as he would like to be seen by the world.
And you see him as you would like to see him. And you’ll carry on a mental
conversation with him from the premise that he is now already the one he wants to be
and to the degree that you are self-persuaded that he is that, he becomes that.

You don't have to raise one finger to make it so. You plant the seed. What do you do
after you plant the seed? You leave it. You don't dig it up every morning to see if it
has a root, you leave it. A seed must fall into the ground and die before it is made
alive. And if it dies, it bears much fruit and so you put it into the seed into the ground
of your own wonderful human imagination.

Now bear in mind the vision has it's own appointed hour. It ripens. It will flower. If it
be long, wait for it is sure and it will not be late. Not for that seed. One seed may take
24 hours. Another may take like a hens egg, 21 days. A little lamb takes 5 months, a
horse takes a year, human beings 9 months. So each seed has its own appointed hour.
So don't be concerned.

You did the work, all you need do is simply leave it alone and don't raise one finger
to make it so and don't discuss it with anyone else or with the one who asked it of
you. If they keep on bothering you in saying about when, don't answer them. You
planted it, you did what they asked you to do and that's all that you can do.

If they are anxious about it, then let them bring about their own mental miscarriage.
What do you do after pregnancy, there's no such thing as a little pregnancy.
Pregnancy and then in the fullness of time the child is born. So in the fullness of time
what you did in your imagination will be born. So leave it alone.

Every imaginal act grows into a fact. So, go about knowing that there only states in
this world, and you, the immortal you, can not die. I'm telling you from my own
personal experience you can not die. Cut off your head now, you will find yourself
restored to life in a terrestrial world, just like this and have no knowledge that you
died to those here. Because you're not dead. Because a man is not dead, he knows he
didn't die. And it is the most difficult thing to persuade anyone that they died. I've
tried it several times. Stepping out of this garment, into this world, a world just like
this meeting friends I know intimately.

Friends whose funeral I went to. Others, I saw them a month before they died. They
knew it was terminal, that they were gonna die. I meet them and they are 40 years
younger. And you can't persuade them that something happened in their world and
that they died because you are crazy.

How can you say I died when I'm alive? I'm not dead. You say you're not dead, but
you died. Well that's an insane statement to the average mind. So what can you do?
Leave them alone until they pass through the states and in the end they will awake.
But your not gonna crow, you tell them, in the end if what you tell them is true, they
will know it's true. Because not one word of scripture will be broken. Not one bone is
broken. It's the revealed truth and revealed truth is the body of God and not one of his
bones can be broken. All will be fulfilled.
It will do you a great deal of good if you would bear in mind when you meet anyone
he is only in a state. If he's in a state of arrogance, all right, let him be. You don't have
to actually play his little part for him. If he wants to feel that he's important because
of the accident of birth or the money that he's acquired let him be. You go about your
own wonderful way.

So here tonight, if I've taken from you the historicity of scripture I haven't robbed you
because it isn't historically true anyway. You can search from now till the ends of time
and you'll find no evidence to support the historicity of the bible.

Twice a myth made a tremendous effort Albert Schweitzer he came to the conclusion
there is no historicity of Christ. He named his book, "In Search of the Historical
Christ.” He is an honest man. A humble, simple, wonderful scholar. Albert Switzer. It
is not because about what he said, I'm telling you what I've experienced and you
never find any so called burial place of David or Abraham or Jacob in near east no
matter what archaeologist bring in. They are eternal states. They are in the
consciousness of the individual.
