Installation Guide Non-life Omniscan 4.

System Require with :

• Hardware Requirements :

• Intel Core i3 Processor

• 4 GB RAM
• 20 GB HDD
• TWAIN Compliant Scanner
• 40 GB Free Hard Disk

• Operating System :

• Windows 10 or
• Windows 8/ 8.1 or
• Windows 7

• Dot Net framework 2.0 or framework 4.5

NOTE: Before starting the installation, ensure that the user is logged in as the Administrator.

1.       Adding users to DMS group

2.       Adding the user machine(Host Name) to OMNI Scan OU.
3. User should be member of local admin group or it should have rights to access registry editor.

Setup Path - OmniScan 4.1 Release\OmniScan 4.1 Release\Setup

Note :
1) Take back up ini from template folder where old version installed.

Ex path : C:\Program Files\OmniScan\Template

2) Uninstalled old version 2.2 from the system and delete omniscan folder

3) process for omniscan 4.1 version installation.

To Install OmniScan:
Point#1: Run the NewgenOmniScan.exe.
NOTE: You can find license key in 'OmniScan 4.1 Release' Folder having file named - Key for User.
Point#2:
Restart the system post omniscan installation. (Provide admin rights to user ID and on omniscan
folder and user system)

Change the setting of omniscan userprofile and export type from below Path:

Point#3:

Go to Patch installation Folder:

A)

Open Step 1 Folder and refer to the README Document provided along.

Then Register NGOSCANVALIDATION.dll with CMD (Run as administrator )

C:\Windows\System32\regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\ Newgen OmniScan

\NGOCSCANVALIDATIONS.dll"
B)

Open Step 2 Folder and refer to the README Document provided along.

C)

Open Step 3 Folder and refer to the README Document provided along.
