Removing interior A pillar cladding

►Carefully pull off the door seal 3
►Carefully unclip the cladding 2
►Unscrew the screw in position 1

Tip for users

The A pillar interior cladding must not be removed
on the passenger side; on this side it is sufficient
to remove the mirror.

►Loosen the mirror clamp bolt 1, and secure the

mirror against falling
►Remove the mirror in an upwards direction

Removing exterior A-pillar cladding

►Unscrew the bolts 1
►Partially close the doors until the cladding can
be unthreaded

Removing the stop buffer

►Remove the lock washer 1

►Close the doors
►Remove the stop buffer 1

Installing the stop buffer

►Moisten the stop buffer 1 contact surfaces with
assembly paste
►Insert a new stop buffer 1
►Open the doors

►Secure the stop buffer with a new lock washer

Attaching exterior A-pillar cladding

►Partially close the doors until the cladding can
be threaded in
►Screw in and tighten the bolts 1

Fitting cladding
►Attach the cladding and screw in and tighten the
bolts 1

Installing interior A pillar cladding

►Screw in and tighten the bolts at position 1
►Carefully clip in the cladding 2
►Carefully attach the door seal 3
