A. Introduction:
This unit covers the outcomes requires in installing and configuring desktop and workstation computers systems. It consists of
competencies to assemble computer hardware. Install operating system and drivers for peripherals/devices, and install application
software as well as to conduct testing and documentation.

Assessment Criteria
5.1 Devices / systems and/or installation is tested to determine whether it conforms to requirements
5.2 Stress test is conducted to ensure reliability of equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and system
requirements

5.4 Documentation in relation to the test is forwarded to appropriate personnel and/or authority in accordance with
