Education Degree/Post Graduate in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering. (Diploma not preferred)
Additional Qualification Certification in Lean Manufacturing/ Manufacturing Excellence
Total Experience (Years) • Minimum 18+ years of experience in Automotive Sector Manufacturing/Plant Operations. In a CEO Capacity for atleast 5+years.
• Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development.
• Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Relevant Experience • Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against production plan and project deadlines.
• Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets.
• Resilient, self motivated and able to work well under pressure.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements.

• Developing high quality Business strategies/plans and ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.
• Leading and motivating subordinates to advance employee engagement. Develop a high performing team at both plants(Pune&Indore).
• Overseeing all Operations and Business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and
mission.
• Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits.
• Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements.
• Build trust relations with Key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important stakeholders.
• Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
• Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company.
• Contribute to new business initiatives as well as opportunity for growth in existing orders and review/communicate the impact on
manufacturing activities.
• Review environmental strategies that impact on future ways of operating and ensure implementation where possible.
• Work closely with the Promotors to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation.
• Analyze product flow, material flow, communication flow, employee skill level and plant layout to implement changes that eliminate waste
and increase speed.
Area of Responsibilities/
• Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality
Tasks
and delivery targets which enable Defsys to function and compete effectively in the market.
• Implement a customer focused operational culture delivering world class customer service levels.
• Provide decisions on all Quality related issues- Certifications, Qualifications, IQC related issues, in-process inspection and dispatch related
decisions.
• Overseeing of all Commercial matters- proposals, business contracts, POs, Payments, etc.
• Develop and manage Operations budgets for both the plants along with all Capital Expenditure proposals and ensure that the product is
delivered to agreed cost, quality and timelines.
• Manage on-time introduction of new products.
• Evaluate plant capacities and propose capacity enhancement solutions in a pro-active manner.
• Advise, Verify and approval of all technical documents, assembly files, technical proposals, solutions and technologies.
• Set Plant KPIs and monitor ongoing progress and performance.
• Responsible for developing the appropriate organisational structure, resource plans and culture to support the business objectives and
customer deliverables.
• Communicate with stakeholders the impact of technology change and potential effects on supply. Recommend solutions without
compromising quality or service while optimizing cost.
