Business background

At FM & S Vending Machine, we believe that our success is very much dependent on the success of our staff
members. The COVID-19 outbreak poses unprecedented challenges to businesses, governments, and societies
around the world. Companies are reacting in different ways to ensure business continuity, improve the
resilience of their supply chain or pivot to innovative ways to generate revenue.

We understand that a key challenge in the current crisis is the demand peak in daily demand for basic
consumables such as respirator masks, gowns, visors and swabs. FM & S Vending Machine wants to make all
such possible that everyone can able to obtain the face mask and sanitizer anytime and anywhere with this
first step we take.

Our vision is everyone going back home safe and healthy every day and to be the most convenient provider
for everyone that can obtain the product everywhere.

Our mission is to provide products that are innovative, cost effective, environmentally friendly, exceeding
quality expectations and outstanding service levels through quality and operational.

In times of COVID-19, one of the key priorities for most people is to protect their own environment while
keeping surrounding safety as long as possible. These two objectives require everyone to protect themselves -
for example, by wearing masks and increasing their use of disinfectants.

Setting up quantities and capabilities of vending machine to easily people get the simple hygiene and
protection products such as masks and disinfectants is comparable easy and can be obtained quickly. A key
challenge in this context is to quickly find and qualify suppliers. However, in many cases, the existing supplier

base can be leveraged to avoid lengthy qualifications and on boarding processes.

BUSINESS PRODUCT/CONCEPT
Business concept is a brief description of an idea behind the existence of a business. It describes key
consumer problems it seeks to solve, articulates how the idea applies to a market and provides a clear
direction when processing a business plan. Additionally, a business concept serves as an overview to potential
business partners or investors. It provides them with enough information on whether or not they should
continue with the proposed plan. Thus, your concept statement should hook your audience’s attention as well
as justifies the investors’ decisions. It is important to develop a business concept. Our business concept is what
ties our business idea to a greater core. It draws the relational inference between our potential business, the
industry, and our targeted market and customers.

Our business product are selling face mask and sanitizer through vending machine,we are not only
sell product we even do service,we are like the thirdth party.We collect the product from supplier and sell
it.Our company is going to run a standard and licensed face mask and sanitizer production company which the
products will be sold in all the public place. Vending machine business is a one-time investment where we just
need to locate a machine and ready to kickstart our business even that it also less overhead, lesser rental and
electricity cost than a physical store, operation hours are 24 hours, 7 days a week and freedom of working
hours.

Our company is to make profits and also to give our customers value for their money. These are some
of the products that we will be offering;

 Manufacturing of different types of face masks such as cloth face masks, medical (non-surgical) masks,
surgical masks, and filtering facepiece respirators such as N95 masks and FFP masks.
 Sanitizer less alcohol ,not strong smell
 Kit Bag With Strip

The reason we did this concept because serious situation going on in our country,means pandemic cases is
increasing,that is the reason we take this concept we want to make everyone to stay safe.Our concept is make
people to realize that our business distribute face mask and sanitizer and to make it easy for them. Meantime,
our main target is public for this time that is our purpose we did this concept.We established with the aim of
competing favorably with other leading face mask brands in the industry. This is why we will ensure that we
put the right structures in place that will support the kind of growth that we have in mind while setting up the
business.

We even have requested with the supplier to give us the best quality of face mask and sanitizer.We did
some research that some of people have acne if they wear face mask,so we requested to them to do anti-acne
and make it 5 layers of it.Meantime for sanitizer we ask them to make it fast dry and make nice scent smell so
everyone can use it like lotion.The main categories that we want the right mask is
safety,comfort,breathability,able to breathe in a regular environment even you are walking and
appearance,even going to wear a mask all day there no reason you should not have a mask you like. People
have really embraced personalizing their masks. The one area that is still in its infancy is branded masks.The
quality must also good quality because few people can’t wear any normal some have acne in they face.

Moreover, understanding the customer means that we should always look at our business from the
perspective of the customers you’re targeting. It doesn’t matter what our personal likes, tastes and
preferences are, if customers don’t want or like what we are selling, they won’t buy it. And if they don’t buy
it, our business will be down.Such as Hassan is an aspiring entrepreneur who wants to start an ice cream
business. Fortunately for him, he has just found out (through this article) that he must identify and understand
his target customers if he wants his business to be successful.

A vending machine that have face mask and sanitizer is a great way to get started at public place such as
train station,bus station,RnR and etc to attract people and recognize our brand. Most of vending machine
take advantage of selling unwanted things supposedly have to distribute our vending machine to all the public
that is our purpose,public have to know our brand. Not like the public people can have drinks vending
machine that only fit beverages, even able to display various PPE products such as masks, hand sanitizers,
disinfectants and other medical devices.

MARKET RESEARCH

Market research is defined as the process of evaluating the feasibility of a new product or service, through
research conducted directly with potential consumers. This method allows Face Mask and Sanitizer Vending
Machine to discover our target market, collect and document opinions and make informed decisions. Market
research can be conducted directly by us or companies or can be outsourced to agencies which have expertise
in this process.

Market research methods

Surveys

In survey research, Survey questions are given to respondents over the phone, emailed and online form. There
are a few questions that they need to fill in about their experiences as a user for Facemask Sanitizer Vending
Machine. As far as close-ended questions go, we create a few different types as per below:

 Multiple choice
 Checkbox
 Likert scale (common version is five options between ‘strongly agree’ and ‘strongly disagree’)
 Demographic (asking after info such as gender, age, or occupation)

Interview

Interview can be one to one conversation with members of our target market. The interview session will be
held by virtual interview as per current situation. This is the best way for us to understand our target
customers for facemask and sanitizer vending machine. There are few types of interview in research as such
email interviews, web interviews, personal interviews and telephonic interviews for our target customers.

Observation

Observational market research is a qualitative research method where the researcher observes their subjects
in a natural or controlled environment. This method is much like being a fly on the wall, but the fly takes notes
and analyzes them later. In observational market research, subjects are likely to behave naturally, which
reveals their true selves. This Facemask and Sanitizer Vending Machine are really useful during this pandemic.
Moreover the Facemask and Sanitizer Vending Machine still not available in Malaysia market. We found that
people had hard time to get the hygiene face mask and sanitizer for themselves especially who are stay at the
high traffic location such as Public Transport and Hospital.

Focus group

Our focusing group for Facemask Sanitizer Vending Machine is for a public area such as Public Transport area,
Hospital, School and selected high-traffic location in Malaysia. We had get a bunch of people into a virtual
room meeting to ask them a few question about our service to the public. The nature of discussion is
important for us to recognize as a potential factor that skews the resulting data. Focus groups can encourage
participants to talk about things they might not have otherwise, and they might be impacted by others in the
group or the presence of the researcher.
