What is the caption function?

Helping readers or viewers to

understand more information that
might not be in photos or videos.
 Captions have 6 types, namely:
1. Identification Bar : A type of caption that only mentions the subject.
2. Cutline : A type of captio that states what subject the subject is doing.
3. Summary : This type of caption must be able to answer What, Who, Where, and
When.
4. Group Identification : This type of caption must have more than one subject and all
the subjects are mentioned in the caption.
5. Quote : For those of you who often post Instagram photos, but beforehand take a
quote from a famous figure, you must be familiar with this one. Yup, a quote is a
type of caption that usually contains sentence or quote words whether from a book,
film, or public figure that has a good influence on himself and others.
6. Expanded : This caption is the longest type of the captions above. Of course, this
caption is more detailed than the captions above.
