My name is Andrew Welch, and I am a current accounting student at University of Tennessee at Martin. I also attended Middle Tennessee State University for two years while pursuing my Associates. In school, I have completed projects involving Month-End Closing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and analyzing financial statements. Through these activities, I have gained an in-depth knowledge of spreadsheet programs like Excel and Google Sheets, and I was also exposed to accounting software like Quickbooks and Wave. Last semester, I took on a full time job working as administrative assistant for the Dickson County Health Department helping to administer COVID tests and vaccines. I eventually became one of the project managers for setting up the COVID vaccination site. I was able to improve my leadership skills by having to problem solve and work quickly to find a solution to issues that were growing rapidly. It excites me to be prospectively training at Chief Executive Group as a research associate, as research is such an important skill to have in business. The company seems to be able to tell many success stories because of their magazines. I would love to have an interview as soon as possible! Please call me at (629-204-2545) or email me at (a.welch217@gmail.com) so we can arrange a meeting! Thank you for your time and consideration! I look forward to meeting you. Sincerely, Andrew J Welch
