Cross out the correct number of whales to solve each subtraction.

 Counting
Count each type of whales and write down how many there are.

 10 Frames
Cut out everything on the next page individually.
You might want to laminate the elements. You can also glue velcro circles at the back
of each them.

Place one of the number cards in the number cards place.

Place the written word next to it and write down/copy the word in the golden lines.
Take as many counting circles as the number indicates and place it in the ten frame
while counting out loudly.
Repeat as you go along.
You can also reverse the order, meaning place for example 3 whales in the ten frame
and then count them. Then place the number and words cards in the appropriate
places and copy the word.
