bugs, and frogs to eat.

are known for their short bobbed tails.

spend most of their lives swimming in the
water or basking in the sun.

many different types and sizes of fish
that live in these areas.

groups of eggs in the water. The eggs will
hatch into tadpoles.

Picture Directions for
Adapted Books
* Pages will be laminated
* Cover Page will be cut on the dotted line and each individual picture on the right will be
cut out and have Velcro attached to the backside. (they will then stick to the right side of
the last page
* All other pages will be cut on the dotted line. & laminated. Velcro is then put in
appropriate places on each page.
* The last page is the ONLY page that remains a FULL SHEET!-Velcro is then attached to
the individual boxes on the right & the pictures individually cut from the cover page will
Velcro to them…like a matching game.
* The book will be bound ,(stapled, or put in a 3 pronged folder) at the top or left side. Your
book should then be a ½ page book that flips and still allows the manipulative pieces or
choice board to be visible on the last page throughout the story.
