Encik Khairul lives with his beloved family. He is happily married and blessed with three children.
Last rainy Monday, he was still at work even though it was time to go home.

He had to do a lot of work.

As it was getting late, he decided to go home despite the heavy rain. The road that leads to his
house was already flooded. Although the water level was quite high, he decided to go on.

When he reached half way, all of a sudden, the engine of his car stopped. His car was stranded in
the middle of the flooded road. He could not do anything. Luckily, there were a few boys who are
willing to help him. They pushed the car out of the flooded road.

He thanked the teenagers profusely for their help. Then, he tried to start the car again. He was on
cloud nine when the car started. Without any delay, he continued his journey home.

Dear Ratna ,

How are you? I am in a pink of health here. I write to you because I want to tell you
about my holidays last week. I went to Pulau Kayangan with my beloved family. The journey took 3
hours. Once we arrived, we unpacked our things. We stayed in a traditional Malay chalet.

I enjoyed the panoramic view and the breath taking weather. That night we rested in our
chalet and mum cooked simple dishes for our lunch. At 4 p.m. we swam at the beach. The water
was cold. I collected some seashells with my sister.

The next day, we visited the lighthouse in the island. It was my first experience. Then,
we enjoyed the horse riding and took some pictures there. At 7 p.m., we had a barbecue. We grilled
the chicken wings and some sausages.

I also bought some souvenir for you. I hope to hear about your holiday in the next email.
That’s all from me. Thank you.

Your friend,

Zainab
