Helix Automatic Disc Filtration System - 201 Series

Mayan WaterTech's 201 automatic filtration system presents an efficient solution for
filtration in agricultural, industrial, and municipal applications.

Technology
FILTRATION STAGE: The Helix ring generates

a centrifugal effect upon entry into the filter,

moving large particles away from the discs.

The water then passes efficiently through the

depth of the uniquely designed discs.

BACKFLUSHING STAGE: Clean water is

introduced opposite the filtering direction

through the filtering element. This

decompresses the spring loaded discs, allowing

Automatic Disc Filtration System

Helix Automatic 200 Series, 300 Series
Mayan Water-Tech's automatic filtration systems offer a highly efficient, modular, easy
to install, self cleansing water treatment solution. System features include: automatic disc
filtering elements, 2" valves ( 200 series) or 3" valves (300 series), HDPE manifolds.
Technology
The Helix Automatic Disc Filtration System backflushes one
filtration unit at a time, while the rest of the units continue to
work, allowing for continuous filtration.

Filtration stage: Water entering the filter enters through the Helix
device, generating a centrifical effect that pushes particles in the
water away from the stacked discs. Water passes through the
grooves on the surface of the discs, leaving fine particles in and
between the grooves.

Backflushing stage: Filtered water is introduced from the reverse

direction through the filtering element structure, decompressing
and separating the stacked discs, which causes perfect cleaning of
the discs’ grooves.

Solids expelled from the discs

are evacuated through the
drainage manifold.
Filtration begins again with
compression of the discs.

Backflushing is controlled by
integrated drainage valve and
a controller.

Automatic Hydraulic Screen Filter - LCA Series

Automatic screen filter with hydraulic command system. A wide range of filtration degrees
offers a high performance solution; suitable for a wide range of applications.

Environmentally Friendly - Minimal water loss

during flushing process.

Wide Range of Filtration Degrees -

80-1,000 Microns.

Versatility - Inlet/Outet range from 2"-8".

Resistance - Temperature resistance up to 60 °C.

Large Filtration Surface Area - Up to

erase - pto 7,200 cm2 .

Resistance - Stainless steel screen offering high

Durability - against corrosion.

Easy Installation - Plug and play.

Technology
Mayan automatic screen filters provide an uninterrupted supply of
clean filtered water without interruption during the flushing cycle.

Filtration Process - The water flows through the inlet(1) and enters
the inside of the screen filter.
The water then passes through the screen(2) while the particles get 5
trapped on the inside of the screen element. The filtered water
continues to flow to the outlet(3).

Flushing Process - When the pressure differential (DP) between

inlet and outlet reaches a pre-selected level the flushing cycle starts. 2 3
4
A hydraulic valve opens in the drain port, which causes a suction
force in the inner nozzels(4) of the scanner. This coupled with the
helical movement of the nozzles up and down the screen sucks the
captured particles from the screen directing them to the drain port(5).

The length of the the flush cycle is pre-determined by the control

unit. When the cycle is complete the flush valve closes and the
1
flushing ends. The flushing process uses a minimal amount of water.

Automatic Electric Screen Filter - LDB Series

Automatic Screen filter with electrical command system. A wide range of filtration degrees
offers a high performance solution; suitable for a wide range of applications.

Environmentally Friendly - Low water consumption

during flushing cycle.

Wide Range of Filtration Degrees -

10-1,000 microns (SS support) 80-1000 microns
(PVC or M.S. support).

Versatility - Inlet/Outlet from 2"-20".

Resistance - Temperature Resistance up to 60°C.

Large Filtration Surface Area - Up to 21,300 cm2.

Resistance - Screen is made from stainless steel

offering high durability against corrosion.

Easy Installation - Plug and Play.

Technology
Mayan automatic screen filters provide a continuous supply of clean
filtered water without interruption during the flushing cycle.

Filtration Process - The water flows through the inlet(1) and enters
the inside of the screen filter.
The water then passes through the screen(2) while the particles get
trapped on the inside of the screen element. The filtered water
continues to flow to the outlet(3).

Flushing Process - When the pressure differential (DP) between inlet 5

and outlet reaches a pre-selected value the flushing cycle initates.
A hydraulic valve opens in the drain port, which causes a suction
force in the inner nozzels(4) of the scanner. This coupled with the
helical movement of the nozzles up and down the screen sucks the 4 3

captured particles from the screen directing them to the drain port(5). 2

The length of the the flush cycle is pre-determined by the control unit.
When the cycle is complete the flush valve closes and the flushing
ends. The flushing process uses a minimal amount of water.
