Coordinators DPDS School Coordinators All Others Concemed 1, The Department of Education has been consistent in promoting the spirit of volunteerism to prepare the schools for the opening of classes. Anchored on the slogan “Bayanihan sa Paaralan’, this year’s Brigada Eskwela implementation has focused on strengthening partnership engagement to ensure leaming continuity even in time of COVID-19. 2. Pursuant to Regional Memorandum No. 074, s. 2021 titled “Conduct of Brigada Eskwela 2020 Awards" to recognize the effort of all elementary and secondary public schools that implemented Brigada Eskwela from June 1 to October 31, 2020, this office informs the field on the Conduct of Brigada Eskwela 2020 Awards Division Level via Facebook Live. 3. The objective of this activity is to select the Brigada Eskwela 2020 Awardees for both Elementary and Secondary Level. This year's Brigada Eskwela Awards selection shall highlight partnership initiatives that complement the implementation of the Basic Education Leaming Continuity Plan. 4, Furthermore, attached herein is the Criteria of the Selection of Brigada Eskwela 2020 Awards Division Level and BE Form 1 and BE Form 1.1 (enclosure 1) for your information and guidance. Deadline of submission of entry per district to the division will be on March 8 ,2021. ‘There should strictly be only one (1) District entry per category in every level. In the event of tie, the district/division should device a mechanism to break ties, 5. Each school shall prepare three (3) separate folders, the MOV's for (1) Brigada Eskwela Partnership Engagement Activities, (2) Resources Generated Relative to the COVID-19 Situation, (3) Bayanihan effort to support the BE-LCP implementation. This willbe the basis for selecting the Brigada Eskwela Best Implementing Schools per category. (Note: Two copies for each folder, (1) for district'school copy and (1) for division copy. The Division office shall be awarding the Brigada Eskwela Best Implementing Schools in the following categories: Number of Teachers Category Elementary Level ‘Secondary Level ‘Small School ‘9 and below 15 and below Medium School 10-29 16-30 Large Schoo! 30-50 31-50 Mega School ‘57 and above ‘51 and above ‘Note: Integrated schools (Kinder to Grade 12) may choose which category level they intend to participate in the selection 7. The Division Brigada Eskwela Best implementing Schools, the School Head and school coordinator awardees shall receive a certificate of recognition. The SDO awardees will automatically become Regional Awardees and shall receive other distinct recognition from the region which includes plaque of recognition to the Brigada Eskwela Best Implementing Schools and certificate of recognition for the School Head and school coordinator which they ‘can present when they apply for promotion based on the existing hiring and promotion guidelines. A certificate of Appreciation shall also be given to the chosen stakeholder of the Brigada Best Implementing Schools. 9.
