managerial accounting techniques discussed in class after midterm examinations .
Please note that you should use your own case problem, your own assumptions and figures.
NO TWO STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE EXACTLY THE SAME CASE, ASSUMPTIONS, FIGURES.

Use the following format in presenting your answers per case. Thus, each case should have all
the items below. NO OTHER FORMAT IS ACCEPTABLE EXCEPT THE ONE BELOW. A ZERO CREDIT
FOR OTHER FORMATS TO BE USED.

A. Managerial Accounting Topic ( e.g. Breakeven Analysis, Budgeting for profit planning,
Capital Budgeting, Relevant Costs for Decision-making, Contribution Margin approach, Five
Financial Ratios, etc)
B. Case Problem Summary (identify name of company; date covered; problem/s being resolved;
assumptions including figures.
C. Case Solution/s (present the formulas, principles involved, etc and corresponding accounting
computations)
D. Business Decision/s to be made (with justification of your decision/s supported by factual
managerial accounting principles)
E. Your Own Learning Insights (Describe what learnings you have drawn from this managerial
accounting topic and case)
