LOR

29th June, 2021.

In my capacity as Associate Professor at D.Y Patil University, X institution, I, Dr. ABCwas very glad
to learn that my student, Mr. Julian D’Souza, is applying for the Master’s program at Imperial College
London. I have been associated with him for the past 4 years and have taught him the course of
Cardiopulmonary and Integumentary Physiotherapy, and been his guide for his research project.

Thus, having known Mr. Jon Doa fairly long period, I found him to be attentive and a self-starter. He
is a student who thinks innovatively. In addition, he has had substantial exposure to the practical
aspects of his program. For example through his Project ‘A survey to assess knowledge of role of
physiotherapy in cardiac rehabilitation of patients with implantable devices among physiotherapy
students’, he learnt to apply the concepts of research & evidence pool and came up with a good piece
of work. He had also participated in the International Multidisciplinary Medical Summit called
“CONFERENCE” in 2019 hosted by the college which enhanced his presentation and communication
skills.

His other academic credentials include his work experience during his clinical training for
physiotherapy in D.Y Patil Hospital for the past 4 years. This experience has fine-tuned his laboratory
and clinical skills and has helped him translate his theoretical knowledge into practical know–how.
Furthermore, he is mature and approachable. I would expect him to perform well in a wide range of
environments. In fact, his all-rounder personality and skills would place him high on any list of good
students for higher education.

He was equally good at extra-curricular activities. He participated in the intercollegiate football,

basketball, throw ball tournament in which his team has consistently won 1st prize from 2017 until
date. Apart from these accomplishments, he is also a theatre artist, and a dance performer. Julian is
also one of the founders of the college band, and plays the lead guitar for the college band.

Mr. Jon Dohas selected MSc International Health Management as his career choice. He is solution
driven, takes initiative and lead when required. Keeping in mind his skills and all round personality, I
am confident that you will find Mr. Jon Doto be a pragmatic student. I give Mr. Jon Domy highest
recommendation to your esteemed university. You can get back to me at shreevidya.k@dypatil.edu
for further information that you may need about Mr. Julian D’Souza.

Thank you,

Kind regards,

Dr. ABCM.P.T, (Ph.D Scholar),
