 Lesson For Everyone

A son took his old father to a restaurant for an evening dinner. Father being very old and weak,
while eating, he dropped food on  his shirt and trousers. The other diners watched him in
disgust while his son was calm.
After he finished eating,  his son who was not embarrassed at all, quietly took him  to the wash
room, wiped the food particles, removed the stains, combed his hair and fitted  his spectacles
firmly.  When they came out,  the entire restaurant was watching them in dead silence, not
able to grasp how someone could embarrass them publicly like that.
The son settled the bill and started walking out with his father.
At that time, an  old man amongst the diners called out to the son and asked him, “Don’t you
think you have left something behind?”.
The son replied, “No sir, I haven’t”.
The old man said, “Yes, you have! You left a lesson for every son and hope for every father“.

The English teacher.

Jessica is our English teacher, but how did she become an English teacher?
Jessica was in the last year of high school and hadn't decided what to study at university.
Although she knew she was running out of time, she couldn't come up with an answer to her
question.
To make matters worse, her parents were going through a divorce, so she never found the right
time to bring this problem up and discuss it with them.
She was looking forward to university life, but she feared it wouldn't live up to her
expectations if she chose the wrong course.
For a long time, she had dreamt of being an engineer, but she finally realized that she wouldn't
be able to put up with a boring routine of sitting behind a desk every day.
Then it dawned on her that if History was her favorite subject, she should think about being a
history teacher.
Her parents were taken aback when she told them. They were afraid she would have problems
getting by on a teacher's salary.
In hindsight, she didn't think it was a great decision, but everything turned out fine.
In the end, she realized she likes English a lot more than History, and that's how come she
teaches English today.

Jessica lisenin son sınıftaydı ve üniversitede ne okuyacağına karar vermemişti.
Zamanının tükendiğini bilmesine rağmen sorusuna cevap veremedi.
Daha da kötüsü, ebeveynleri boşanıyordu, bu yüzden bu sorunu gündeme getirmek ve onlarla
tartışmak için doğru zamanı asla bulamadı.
Üniversite hayatını dört gözle bekliyordu, ancak yanlış kursu seçerse beklentilerini
karşılamayacağından korkuyordu.
Uzun bir süre mühendis olmayı hayal etmişti, ama sonunda her gün masa başında oturmanın
sıkıcı rutinine katlanamayacağını anladı.
Sonra, eğer Tarih onun en sevdiği konu ise, bir Tarih öğretmeni olmayı düşünmesi gerektiğini
anladı.
Onlara söylediğinde ailesi şaşırmıştı. Öğretmen maaşıyla geçinmekte sorun yaşayacağından
korkuyorlardı.
Geriye dönüp baktığında, bunun harika bir karar olduğunu düşünmedi, ama her şey yolunda
gitti.
Sonunda, İngilizceyi Tarihten daha çok sevdiğini fark etti ve bugün bu şekilde İngilizce öğretmen
oldu.
