 Key Projects

1) Football Penalty Direction Predictor using Pose Estimation

and Deep Learning: Penalties in football are usually very
unpredictable and approximately 95% of the penalties are
turned successful. In this project, I made an attempt to use
Pose of the penalty shooter before he/she shoots the ball
and predict the direction where the ball will go to help in
making the shots less unpredictable. I manually crated a
custom dataset of over 250 videos containing more than
2500 penalty shoot-outs and used these videos and images
to get the predictions.
2) Facial Attribute Detection: Performing a real time facial
attribute detection using Deep Learning (ResNet50 with
FastAI and PyTorch). The face is detected and localized
using Haar Cascades (OpenCV).
3) Emotion Detection from Speech: Classifying voice notes into
emotions such as - Angry, Happy, Sad, etc. using
Convolutional Neural Networks. The sound is first converted
into a frequency domain and features such as MFCC,
Chroma are extracted.
4) Finding Donors Classification: Several different supervised
algorithms are used to precisely predict the income of
individuals using data collected from the 1994 US Census.
Our aim with this implementation is to create a model that
predicts precisely whether a person makes more than
$50,000.
5) Sentiment Analyzer: NLP Assignment. Created a text
sentiment Analyzer that classifies Twitter tweets and
Amazon reviews into positive, negative and neutral.
6) Housing Data Analysis: Collected data from various sources
such as real estate agents, individual buyers, then analysis
of how the pricing of houses are affected by various factors.

Interests

Social work: Participated in the Blood Donation Drive organized

by the Rotary Club. A part of the Open School Project where
the under-privileged kids are taught different skills. Selected by
the AIESEC for the foreign program with Egyptian tourism as a
free-lance photographer.
