ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION
-3 + 4 = 1 With unlike signs, we find the difference between
3 +(-4) = -1 the terms and use the sign of the greater term for our
answer.
-3 - 4 = -7 With like signs(even if they’re both negative)we find the
3+4=7 sum and use the common sign for our answer

MULTIPLICATION AND DIVISION


-3 x 4 = -12 With unlike signs we get a negative answer.
3 x(-4)= -12
-3 x -4 = 12 With like signs(even if both are negative), we get a
3 x 4 = 12 positive answer
