The lumjnajre shall be a General Electric Company
luminaire lor use with hlgh int€nsity dischargo lamp3, Type M-
250R, Cat. No. (Specily) suitable for use on (multiple, series)
circuits.
The luminaire shall consist of a procision die-cast
aluminum housing and retractor holder, a two-bolt siipfittor
capable of accepting a 1-1l4-inch through 2-inch pipe brackel
without rearrangement of mounting parts, and adjustable 45%
from tho horizontal, an Alzakt finishod hydrolorm€d reflector
with polyester fiber gasketing between the rofloctor and the
refraclor. lt shall coniain a porcelain enclosed mogul socket
with spring loaded center contact and lamp grips and an
adjustable socket mounting capable of producing IES type
(Specjfy) distribution with the (Specify lamp number and type),
high intenslty dischargo typ6 lamp. The socket sha be sealed
to the reflector assembly with a polyester fiber gasket.
The luminaire shall have an intornal ballast of the
(regulator, reactor, lag, series) typ6 capable ol operating trom
a rnultiple {specify voitage) series (specify amperage) crcuit.
The ballast shall be prewired to the lamp socket and terminal
board, requiring only connecton ot the power supply leads to
the terminal board.
(Optional) The luminaires shall contain a tocklnO type
mounting receptacle in accordance with EEI-NEMA slandards
for a photoelectric controller. The receptacl€ shall be prewired
to the terminal board.
