3.1: Findings
It is found that some of the existing products are not performing.
The customers of health care industry require latest products in an affordable price.
Many competitors like Biorad, BD, Roche, are providing good quality products that are
highly in demand from the pathological labs and doctors.
But, Anamol Laboratories is selling old products / me –too products which are marketed
by 30 plus competitors in the Indian diagnostic Market.
So, the company should quickly identify the needs of the customer and should
manufacture / outsource the same and satisfy the customers’ needs.
It is found that among 15 biotech products, the company is able to manufacture only 6
products.
The company will break-even after one year that is at the end of 2008.
The company aims at reducing the price of the clinical research products because of
tough competition.
3.2:Suggestion:
The company should increase the quality of clinical research products.
Biotech products are found to be numerous and the company should enter in to the
products of the future.
The products that are available in the market are of high quality hence the products to be
manufactured should be of very high quality.
Sales promotion should be increased to achieve break-even at a faster rate.
Conclusion:
The company should have a full fledged , full-time skilled person in Finance so that it can
gain strength in all finance related matters.
The company should operate it’s strategic plan which is due for implementation.
This project is aimed at knowing in which product the company should invest and in
which it should not.
It was achieved and the break-even point for the company is also found.
