CHAPTER 11
1. What does Harry learn about Snape’s leg? What does he caused it?
One of Snape’s legs was bloody and mangled because tried to get past the three-
headed dog.

2. How does Harry feel before the Quidditch match?

He is nervous and couldn’t fall asleep.

3. What suddenly happened to Harry’s broom? How did Hermione stop it?
Harry’s broom was out of his control, it seemed to be affected by the powerful Dark
magic.
Hermione went to Snape’s seat and put a spell that made Snape’s robes on fire.

4. Who do they think caused Harry’s problem with the broom?

Professor Snape.

5. How does the Quidditch game end?

Harry got the Snitch, and Gryffindor won by one hundred and seventy points to sixty.

6. How do Harry and his friends first find out about Nicholas Flamel?
Hagrid said it accidently when they were disputing about Snape.
CHAPTER 12
1. Where are Hermione, Harry, and Ron looking for information about Nicholas Flamel?
The library.

2. How does wizards’ chess differ from ordinary chess?

It was exactly like ordinary chess except that the figures were alive, which made it a
lot like directing troops in battle.

3. What presents does Harry get for Christmas?

He got an invisibility cloak, which was owned by his father, from an unknown man.

4. Why don’t the Weasley boys go home for Christmas?

Since their parents were going to Romania to visit Charlie.
 5. Where does Harry go Christmas night? How? What happens?
That night Harry puts on his invisibility cloak and sneaks into the restricted section of
the library to look for information about Nicolas Flamel. But because of a book
screaming, attracted the attention of the administrator Filch, Harry had to escape from
the library.
6. What does Harry find? What does he see? What does Ron see?
Harry hid in a disused classroom, there was a magnificent mirror, as high as the
ceiling, with an ornate gold frame, standing on two clawed feet. He saw his parents in
the mirror. However, Ron saw himself wearing the badge like Bill used to — and he
is holding the house cup and the Quidditch cup — he is Quidditch captain, too.”

7. What does Dumbledore tell Harry about the mirror?

It shows us nothing more or less than the deepest, most desperate desire of our hearts.

CHAPTER 13
1. How do Harry and his friends finally find out who Nicholas Flamel was? Who was
he?
He found that at the Famous Wizard card of Dumbledore. Hermione said that
Nicholas Flamel is the only known maker of the Sorcerer’s Stone!

2. Who is going to referee the coming Quidditch match? How does Harry feel about
that? Who is the opposing team?

3. Who shows up at the match that makes Harry feel better? How does the game end?

4. Why does Harry use his broom to go into the Forbidden Forest? What or whom does
he see and hear? What does he conclude from this information?
