improved incubator and a device to treat jaundice. Fe del Mundo’s invention has saved
countless premature infants around the world. She is known as the Inventor of Bamboo
Incubator. Dedicated her life to the cause of pediatrics in the Philippines
 Dr. Abelardo Aguilar, a Scientist who discovered the Erythromycin in 1949. Dr.
Abelardo was testing samples of soils from his backyard in Iloilo, Philippines, and
isolated micro-organisms – a bacteria that lead to the development of the Antibiotic
called Erythromycin. His discovery saved millions of people around the world yet he
wasn’t recognized for his efforts.

Post Test:
1. Cite one government policy that has been implemented and monitored
 One of the government policies that has been implemented and monitored as of today’s
present condition is the strict and mandatory wearing of face mask, face shield and
implementing a one meter physical distance. It is strictly implemented to avoid the
scatter of Virus and to keep everyone safe and healthy.
