LIFECYCLE
CONSTRUCTION OF A HOTEL
These are the following stages through which a maintained the project.
Initiation
First, we need to identify a business need, problem, or opportunity and brainstorm ways that our
team can meet this need, solve this problem, or seize this opportunity. During this step, we will
figure out an objective for the project, determine whether the project is feasible, and identify the
major deliverables for the project.
Planning
During this phase of the project management life cycle, we have to break down the larger project
into smaller tasks, build the team, and prepare a schedule for the completion of assignments. We
try that smaller goals should have a high potential for success. We have to identify the project
timeline, including the phases of the project, the tasks to be performed, and possible constraints.
Planning includes all those things like project plan, creating workflow diagram, estimating
budget and planning about gathering all the resources we to build a hotel.
Execution
After approval of hotel project, developing plan, and building our team now it’s time to get to the
work. It is the phase where we’re going to turn our plan into action. We’ll follow project
lifecycle to keep our work on track and make sure that our work is done according to the plan.
I assigned deputy director to monitor the quality of work and materials we are using in
building the hotel. I’m managing the budget myself as it is the project’s major asset.
Closure
Closure is the phase where we will evaluate that what did and what did not work with the
project. Here I have to analyze project performance that whether the completion of building hotel
is done on time and on planned budget or we failed to keep our plan on track. I have to analyze
the team performance who worked with me in the completion of the hotel. I will make sure that
there are no loose ends left in the construction. After everything we will allocate all the
remaining resources resale the items which are not going to be used in future for this hotel.
