Responsive Call to Worship (Psalm 16):
Leader: Come, let us praise the Lord, who counsels us.
People: We keep our eyes always on the Lord. With him at our right hand, we will not be shaken.
Leader: Therefore our hearts are glad and our tongues rejoice; we rest secure in our Lord.
People: He makes know to us the path of life; he fills us with joy in his presence,
with eternal pleasures at his right hand.

Praising God Together

1: Let It Rise 2: Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee
Let the glory of the Lord, Rise among us; Joyful, joyful we adore Thee, God of glory, Lord of love;
Let the glory of the Lord, Rise among us; Hearts unfold like flowers before Thee, Opening to the sun above.
Let the praises of the King, Rise among us, Melt the clouds of sin and sadness, Drive the gloom of doubt away
Let it rise Giver of immortal gladness, Fill us with the light of day.

Let the songs of the Lord, Rise among us; All Thy works with joy surround Thee, Earth and heaven reflect Thy rays,
Let the songs of the Lord, Rise among us; Stars and angels sing around Thee, Center of unbroken praise.
Let the joy of the King, Rise among us, Field and forest, vale and mountain, Flowery meadow, flashing sea,
Let it rise Chanting bird and flowing fountain, Call us to rejoice in Thee.

Oh, let it rise, Oh, let it rise Mortals join the happy chorus Which the morning stars began;
Love divine is reigning o’er us, Joining all in heaven's plan.

Joyful music leads us sunward In the triumph song of life.
3: I Will Follow
Where You go, I'll go; Where You stay, I'll stay; When You move, I'll move. I will follow
All Your ways are good, All Your ways are sure; I will trust in You alone.
Higher than my sight, High above my life; I will trust in You alone

Chorus:
Where You go, I'll go; Where You stay, I'll stay; When You move, I'll move. I will follow You
Whom You love, I'll love; How You serve, I'll serve; If this life I lose, I will follow You, yeah.
I will follow You, yeah.

Light into the world, Light into my life-- I will live for You alone.
You're the One I seek, Knowing I will find All I need in You alone, In You alone.
Chorus

In You, there's life everlasting. In You, there's freedom for my soul.

In You, there's joy, unending joy; And I will follow.
Chorus (2x)

Unison and Silent Prayers of Confession

Eternal God, you call us to be your presence, your body in this world, but too often we get caught up in our own
needs and lose sight of the overarching mission you set before us. We fracture into pieces. We go our separate ways,
forgetting we need each other to be whole. You have given us your law to be our guide, but we turn our backs on
what we see as rules and restrictions, fearful that we will not live up to your expectations. Speak to us again the good
news of the gospel. Help us then to see with new eyes, and hear with the ears of our heart, the liberating spirit of the
law that strengthens and revives and enables us to be and do all you call us to be and do. O God of liberation and
justice, help us be faithful witnesses to your law of love and unity.

Song: In Christ Alone
In Christ alone my hope is found; He is my light, my strength, my song;
This Cornerstone, this solid ground, Firm through the fiercest drought and storm,
What heights of love, what depths of peace When fears are stilled, when strivings cease;
My Comforter, my All in All; Here in the love of Christ I stand.

In Christ alone who took on flesh; Fullness of God in helpless babe.

This gift of love and righteousness Scorned by the ones He came to save;
Till on that cross as Jesus died The wrath of God was satisfied;
For every sin on Him was laid; Here in the death of Christ I live.

There in the ground His body lay; Light of the world by darkness slain.
Then bursting forth in glorious day, Up from the grave He rose again!
And as He stands in victory Sin's curse has lost its grip on me;
For I am His and He is mine, Bought with the precious blood of Christ!

No guilt in life no fear in death; This is the power of Christ in me.

From life's first cry to final breath Jesus commands my destiny.
No power of hell, no scheme of man Can ever pluck me from His hand;
Till He returns or calls me home, Here in the power of Christ I'll stand.
Here in the power of Christ I'll stand!

Message: Reboot - The Priority of the Gospel (1 Timothy 1:3-17)

Pastor Malcolm Davis
Prayer of Thanksgiving and the Lord’s Prayer
Closing Song: Your Grace is Enough
Great is Your faithfulness, O God. You wrestle with the sinner's restless heart.
You lead us by still waters into mercy And nothing can keep us apart.

So, remember Your people, Remember Your children, Remember Your promise, O God.

Chorus:
Your grace is enough,
Your grace is enough,
Your grace is enough for me.

Great is Your love and justice, God of Jacob. You use the weak to lead the strong.
You lead us in the song of Your salvation And all Your people sing along,

So. remember Your people. Remember Your children, Remember Your promise, O God.
Chorus

Remember Your people, Remember Your children, Remember Your promise, O God.
