Dear Mayor Acosta:

I am writing to you to express my interest for the applying for the incentives from the local
Ordinance No. 839-2019, An Ordinance Granting Cash Incentives with Certificates of
Recognition as Rewards to Oroquietanian Topnotchers of Bar Examinations, PRC
Board Examinations and Tertiary/College Graduates with Latin Honors, Appropriating
Funds Therefor and for such Other Purposes.

I would like to laud you and the authors of this legislation for giving the students and the
reviewees with a strong incentive and reward system to continue to strive while also being
rewarded for their efforts. Thank you for taking pride with the academic achievements of the
people of Oroquieta.

I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at Mindanao State

University – Iligan Institute of Technology last July 09, 2020 with the distinction of Cum
Laude. I was made aware of this local effort and would want to apply for the opportunity to
be one of the awardees for this program. I have been diligent with my studies and I believe
this is one of the rewards I humbly deserve.
