    it great mobility.

    The trunk houses the organs of the
    cardiopulmonary apparatus (the heart, the lungs
    and the great vessels), as well as the organs
    responsible for digestion (the stomach, the
    intestine) and its associated glands (the liver and
    the pancreas).
