A. Collections

B. Deposit of Collections

1. Daily check and cash collections from various sources shall be


deposited on or before 3:00 o’clock on the day the collection has
been made. All Provincial Managers/C.O.-Cash Division shall
institute a cut-off time for their daily collection which shall be before
the close of the banking hours to give enough time for the Regular
Collecting Officers (RCO) to deposit their collections for the day.
Likewise, all Provincial Managers/C.O. -Cash Division shall ensure
that there must be no undeposited collection at the end of the day.

The Finance Units/Marketing Operations Units of all Provincial


Offices are advised to coordinate closely with the NFA retailers and
its clients to strictly observe their cut-off time policy.

2. PNB/LBP shall continue to pick up deposits, as the case maybe,


free of charge and shall waive any inter-branch transaction charges
for this daily direct remittances. NFA provincial offices shall
coordinate with their PNB/LBP counterparts thereat.
F. Documentation and Reporting

Copy 2 - COA; Copy 3 - Accounting; Copy 4 - Collecting
Officer and Copy 5 - Functional copy.

2. Deposit Slips

This form is provided by the depository bank and filled-up by the


Collecting Ofiicer making the deposit. This is usually accomplished
in five (5) copies with the same copy distribution as the OR.

All copies shall be validated by the bank teller retaining the original
for PNB/LBP file and returning the other copies to the Collecting
Office. x x x

All other provisions of the SOP not inconsistent with this amendment/addendum shall
still be in force.

This amendment/addendum shall take effect immediately upon approval of the


Administrator.
