Example of Water Recycling Program (University of Thi-qar)

The University of Thi-Qar has a water plant station to treat the water from the near river and recycle

rainwater on campus during the rain season. This water plant sends the treated water to an ample

water tank storage. The service department of the campus distributes treated water to small tanks for

every building inside the campus. This water is used for garden sprinklers, drinking after another

treatment, and human uses.
