 Emotional stress can affect the quality of life of students, especially in
nursing, academic achievement, and self-efficacy is clinical and can also
interfere with their relationship with patients. The aim of this study was to
compare the rate of depression among nursing students the first year and end
in Kermanshah, Iran.

b. The objectives / research questions (research objectives)


 What is the frequency of depression in first and fourth nursing students?
 What is the relationship between depression level and gender, marital status,
age, residence, interest in nursing, and monthly household income in first-
and fourth -year students?

c. The theory used (theoretical concepts)

d. Approach / data collection techniques (Methodological Approach)


 Data were collected using demographic information form and Beck's
Depression Inventory (BDI). Demographics form including items about age,
gender, marital status, semester, residence, household income, and interest
in nursing.

e. The validity / reliability (Validity and reliability)
 BDI is one of the most common psychometric tests used by Beck to measure
the level of depression and the reliability and validity of this tool i have been
confirmed in various studies. Psychometrics is the Persian version of this tool
has been approved by the Ghassemzadeh et al (2005), and the reliability of
the questionnaire was examined by Cronbach's alpha method.

f. Findings and Implications


 The aim of this study was to compare the rate of depression among nursing
students the first year and final. The results show that almost half of nursing
students have a large number of levels of depression and the first and fourth
year nursing students of both simple and mild depression. Levels of
depression were significantly higher in first -year students compared to end
-of -year students. The results have stated the program. The researchers
propose to study the impact of such extension to menila student interventions
against depression.

 This study examined the views of individuals living at home because of the
COVID-19 pandemic and examined the relationship between stress,
depression, and anxiety at the time of this pandemic.

age, residence, interest in pandemic time, and pandemic monthly income?

- This study used a mixed methods approach called embedded design. In research

- The research results are presented in two titles. The first details the metaphor that
accompanied the participants to stay at home during this pandemic COVID-19, as
well as code and category concept built on this metaphor. Examples of statements
from participants are also presented under each category, to illustrate how these
metaphors are used according to context. The second title details the findings of how
participants ’stress, anxiety, and depression levels changed compared with
perceptual stress levels living at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. This
metaphorical method can increase the reliability and validity in this research.

l. Findings and Implications


- The findings of this study indicated that the pandemic COVID-19 affects individual
and community mental health, as well as the design of intervention activities. Studies
like these could help public health officials improve future preventive measures to
reduce the adverse effects of social distance during an outbreak.

- The findings of this study indicated that feelings of depression, anxiety, fear and
sadness that can arise from the life of the current situation will have an impact on
relations damage, trauma and loss and interest, and suicide attempts. Physiological
needs, safety needs, nutrition in intimate relationships and the need to be respected
