REMEDIAL ASSIGNMENTS

2020 - 2021

NAME: DATE: July/August 2021

SUBJECT: Science TEACHER: John Osborne

CLASS: 8vo PARALLEL:

POINTS: ________ GRADE:________/10

ASSIGNMENTS
The Remedial Assignments for each student comprise 5 assignments of which four only must be completed.
You choose which four of the five you want to work on. Each of these assignments is aligned to specific work
during the year which was not submitted or was not recuperated or was completed poorly. The aim is to enable
you to recuperate missed learning.

The assignments were all originally posted on the 8th Grade Science Blog and can still be found there by
following the links given with each assignment. You will need to follow the links, go to the Blog, search for
the assignment, download it if necessary, and complete the task by following the instructions. When the
assignment is completed, it should be saved as a pdf.

ASSESSMENT
The assessment rubrics or details are given with each assignment on the Blog.

DELIVERY
The assignments should be submitted together as a single pdf. (It is easy to merge pdf’s into one single
document using Adobe or Smallpdf or almost any of the pdf readers/editors which are available without cost.)
Presentations on Canva or Genial.ly or any other platform should also be converted into pdf format but please
also include the platform link

The last date for delivery of the Remedial Assignments is Monday 16th August, by 1:00pm. If you deliver on
that date, there will be no time for your assignments to be revised, so that you can make corrections or
adjustments. You are recommended to deliver the project several days earlier.
