Założenie: rodzina i związek są najważniejszym dobrem dla wielu ludzi i są uważane za główną
wartość w wielu religiach, również w islamie. Przyjrzyjmy się wiec jak wygląda związek partnerski w
islamie.

Prawda: poligamia

Według doktryny islamu, Mahomet praktykował poligamie i zalecał ja innym mężczyznom. Zwyczaj
ten trwa do dziś dzień i jest zapisany w kodzie szariatu. To prawo jest dostępne tylko dla mężczyzn.

4:2 Give orphans their property, and do not exchange your worthless things for their good ones or
absorb their property to add it to your own for this is surely a great sin. If you fear that you will not
be able to deal with orphan girls fairly, marry other women of your choice, two, or three, or four;
but if you fear that you cannot treat them equally, then marry only one, or any of the slave-girls you
have acquired. This will prevent you from being unjust.

33: 52 It will be unlawful for you to marry more wives after this or to exchange them for other
wives, even though you are attracted by their beauty, except slave-girls you own. And Allah
watches over all things.

33:50 Messenger! We allow you your wives whose dowries you have paid, and the slave-girls Allah

Messenger wishes to marry her. This is a privilege for you only, not for any other believer. We know
what We have commanded the believers concerning wives and slave-girls. We give you this privilege
so you will be free from blame. Allah is forgiving and merciful!

Każda zona zasługuje na inne traktowanie.

4:128 And if a wife fears cruelty or desertion from her husband, then they are not to blame for
coming to a mutual agreement between themselves, for peace is best, although people are often
prone to greed. But if you do good and fear Allah, Allah knows all that you do. As hard as you try to
treat all your wives equally, you cannot. Do not abandon one of them altogether, so as to leave her
hanging in suspense. If you come to a mutual agreement and fear Allah, then truly Allah is forgiving
and merciful. But if they separate, Allah will provide for the both of them from His abundance; Allah
is vast and wise.

Mężczyzna może poślubić 2, 3 lub 4 kobiety równocześnie.

Bukhari 7,62,2 Narrated 'Ursa: that he asked 'Aisha about the Statement of Allah: 'If you fear that
you shall not be able to deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry (other) women of your choice,
two or three or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only
one, or (the captives) that your right hands possess. That will be nearer to prevent you from doing
injustice.' (4.3)

Bukhari 8,77,598 "Allah's Apostle said, "No woman should ask for the divorce of her sister (Muslim)
so as to take her place, but she should marry the man (without compelling him to divorce his other
wife)"

Nielegalne sady szariatu w Anglii wydają wyroki w sprawie rozwodów muzułmańskich małżeństw.
Kobiety, które chcą się rozwieść nie mogą iść do angielskiego sadu, ponieważ ich małżeństwa są w
świetle prawa angielskiego nieważne, gdyż są one 2, 3 lub 4 zona. Małżeństwa te często zawierane
są w szariackich sadach lub w muzułmańskich krajach, gdzie są one dozwolone. Małżonkowie
wracają później do swej ojczyzny na Zachodzie, gdzie kobiety te nie maja żadnych praw. Sady
szariackie dają kobietom polowe praw przysługującym mężczyznom zgodnie z doktryna islamu I
