ATM Services during Ramzan and Eid Ul Fitr

Dear Sir/ Madam,

In light of the approaching Ramzan and Eid Ul Fitr, the demand for cash is likely to remain high.
It is therefore imperative to ensure uninterrupted availability of ATMs and e-banking services
infrastructure during Ramzan and Eid Ul Fitr holidays. You are therefore advised to ensure that:

1. Cash received from SBP BSC (Bank) should be used in ATMs only.
2. Dedicated team from your bank is available for timely resolution of ATM related
complaints at all times especially during weekend and off-hours.
3. Contact numbers of your banks’ Helpline are prominently displayed on ATM
vestibules and advertised in print media for the facilitation of general public.
4. Call centers are available 24/7 for quick redressal of all customer complaints.
5. In addition to ATMs, continuous services are also available on Point of Sale (POS)
and other Alternate Delivery Channels (ADC).
6. Cash requests may be forwarded to respective BSC offices at the earliest in a timely
manner to avoid any inconvenience to the general public.
7. Relevant officials are advised to comply with the instructions of PSD officials who
will be coordinating with your staff for any complaints and reporting purposes.

Names of the PSD officers along with contact numbers and format of ATM Service Outage
report will be sent to you via an email. Please advise Head of ADCs, to submit required reports
to the following email address on daily basis:

You are once again advised to meticulously comply with previous SBP’s instructions issued
from time to time and ensure maximum availability of ATMs and other ADCs, failing which
penalties may be imposed and/or other actions may be taken under the relevant provisions in the
law.
