There are four authors for this article. Firstly, DavidT,Warner is a graduate student in music at
Indiana University and received a bachelor's degree in philosophy from BYU in 1993. Warner
is now the staff Managing Director of the Church’s Priesthood and Family Department. He is
currently serving as an Area Seventy in the Fifth Quorum for the LDS Church. PRASADA RAO, 2
D. S.; GRIFFITHS, W. E retrieving information about these two authors was difficult and the
results obtained was not relevant. CHOTIKAPANICH works in the Faculty of Business and

In this assignment my research topic was how income inequality has a global impact. After
reading this information, it has been clear to me why and how income inequality has a global
impact. In addition, the information provided was lengthy and had to look for the main points
to determine its effectiveness and relevance.

The information presented in the resource is based on the facts and its language structure is
free of persuasion words and is not being biased. The author’s facts are supported by proper
experiments and surveys. This information is supported by the reference and document links
for documenting sources that is present in the website. Thus it is grammatically correct and 4

The author is Branko Milanović is a Serbian-American economist. A development and
inequality specialist, he is since January 2014 visiting presidential professor at City University
of New York Graduate Center. He has published a large number of papers, including some 40
for the World Bank, mainly on world inequality and poverty. He is more widely known for his 5
"elephant" curve that shows that those around the 70th-90th percentile global income,
roughly corresponding to lower earners in the developed world, have missed out on real
income growth over that last 20 years.
The target group for this article is for the general public as it tells about global inequality as to
how income inequality has a global impact. Thus, the information is précised for my
assignment.

To conclude, in this assignment, I have used search tools to look for my information. In information Resource 1 I
have used Academic Research Database where the search tool was ProQuest Databse. From the given title I used it
to find my task words, topic words and focus words. The techniques used in Resource 1 were Default Boolean AND,
and it was limited to peer reviewed articles. The number of results given for Resource 1 was 157,618. Furthermore,
Information Resource 2 I used Website Article and the search tool used was Google Scholar. From the given title I
used it to find my task words, topic words and the focus words. The search techniques used in Resource 2 was
Default Boolean AND. The number of results obtained for Resource2 was 1,550,000. After doing this assignment it is
clearly portrayed that Resource 1 has the most effective and relevant results compared to Resource 2. Thus, it can be
said using search techniques the end-user can obtain effective and précised information to complete their task not
to forget it also saves time and energy for the end-user.
