EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES
FINAL EXAMINTATION

IDENTIFICATION
1. The term Cloud refers to a network or the internet.
2. Machine Learning is a branch of artificial intelligence (AI) and computer science that
focuses on using data and algorithms to mimic the way humans learn, with the aim of
gradually improving accuracy.
3. The process of manipulating, configuring, and accessing software over the internet is
referred to as Cloud Computing
4. Platform as a Service is a cloud computing model that provides customers with a
complete platform—hardware, software, and infrastructure—to develop, run, and manage
applications without the cost, complexity, or inflexibility of doing so on-premises.
5. Robotics is an interdisciplinary field of science and engineering concerned with the
design, manufacture, and application of mechanical robots.
6. The Software as a Service model helps end users to use software applications as a
service.
7. Artificial Intelligience is the emulation of human intelligence in computers that have
been trained to think and behave like humans.
8. Artificial Super Intelligence is the hypothetical AI that doesn’t just mimic or understand
human intelligence and behavior.
9. The markup languages and multimedia packages that computers use to communicate are
known as Web Technology
10. A three-dimensional, computer-generated world that a person can experience and interact
with is referred to as Virtual Reality

DEFINITION OF TERMS:
1. Emerging technologies - For me emerging technology is creating or developing new
technology that doesn’t exist in the market

2. Disruptive Technology - Disruptive technology is changing or enhancing existing

technology so that technology become popular in the market
3. Artificial Intelligence - (AI) is a term that refers to the simulation of human intelligence
in machines that are programmed to think and act like humans. Additionally, the term can
be applied to any machine that demonstrates characteristics of a human mind, such as
learning and problem-solving.
4. Web Technology - refers to the way computers communicate with one another through
the use of markup languages and multimedia packages. It enables us to interact with
hosted data, such as websites. The web utilizes hypertext markup language (HTML) and
cascading style sheets (CSS)
5. Augmented Reality - is an interactive environment in which objects in the real world are
augmented with computer-generated perceptual information, sometimes across multiple
sensory modalities, including visual, auditory, haptic, somatosensory, and olfactory.
