10 Ways to Improve Classroom Learning

1. It is said that one principle of EDTECH is independence. How can you as a teacher promote self-
regulation among students?

 To promote self-regulation among students, students really use digital technologies to plan, organize
and facilitate their own learning. We explore not only the type of technologies they use but also the
learning strategies for which they are used. We are especially interested in independent and self-
regulated learning strategies that students develop from their own educational learning process.
Developing independent learners is also one of the objectives that university studies are currently
pursuing. The importance of the matter is justified because academic success is influenced by the
students’ ability to learn independently of the support offered by instructors

2. How you create the presentation, content, and activity that needs planning, design, and
implementation. What are the principles of teaching when integrated into the 10 principles of EDTECH
could maximize student quality learning?

 The use of technology is to increase access to basic education, to support the development of literacy
and numeracy skills, to improve the management of schools and education systems, to enhance the
relevance and quality of learning, and to extend educational opportunities to marginalized and
vulnerable populations, including those in crisis and conflict environments.

1. Principals must effectively and consistently model the use of the same technology tools they expect
teachers to use in their classroom with the students.
2. Principals must be consistent in their decisions and expectations about integrating learning technology
in the school.
3. The principal’s communication about the pace and process of integrating learning technology needs to
be clear and reasonable.
4. The principal must provide appropriate professional development time and resources to support
effective classroom implementation of technology.
5. The principal must support early adopters and risk-takers. This kinetic energy is the driving force
behind any successful technology implementation.
6. The principal must do whatever it takes to ensure that all staff has early access to the very same
digital tools that students will be using in their classrooms.
7. As the education leader, then the principal must make it crystal clear to the technology leader that all
decisions relating to learning technology will be made by the educational leaders with input from the
technology leaders.
8. The principal must set and support the expectation that student work will be done and stored using
technology.
9. Principals must ensure that families and the public are kept informed about the school’s goals and
progress relating to its use of technology as a learning resource.
10. The principal must be an active and public champion for all students, staff members, and the school in
moving the vision of fully integrating learning technology for the second decade of the 21st century.

3. How do we control the learning process in educational technology?

 Education technology helps students to collaborate, gain access to information, control their academic
performance and interact with teachers. A school information system not only helps students but
parents and teachers also. It empowers educators to understand each student’s unique learning needs
and personalize learning material accordingly. Technology has the incredible ability to transform
education, inside and outside the classroom. Not only affects the way students and teachers interact
but also empowers students to take control of their own learning process.
