probability for two or more events.

Random Variable Discrete and continuous random variables, Probability mass and density

expectation, Moments in terms of expectation, variance and covariance for the linear combination

Concepts of duality in linear programming, formation of dual problems, Elementary theorems of
duality.

UNIT - IV
Assignment and transportation problems and their optimum solutions.

UNIT – V
Dynamic Programming- Multistage decision problems and solutions, Principle of optimality.
