Title: Living and Non-living Things (Advanced)

Earth is very special as it is occupied with many kinds of things. Some of

them are living while some are non-living. Human beings, plants and animals are
living things whereas the examples for some of non-living are rocks, water, and air.

There are a couple of things that the living things can do. For instance, the
living things grow. Humans get taller as they grow up. Living things also make
movement and show reaction. If there is a bright light, you will close your eyes.

Living things need food for energy so that they can stay alive and grow
steadily. Instead of eating food like humans and animals, plants make their own
food from sunlight, water and air. This process is called photosynthesis.

Living things are capable of producing a new life which is of their own kind
through the process of reproduction. For example, humans and animals produce
babies while plants such as flowers make seeds to produce more flowers.

The non-living things could not grow, move by themselves, eat or reproduce.
They exist in this world by nature or are made by the living ones. They could not do
things like humans beings, plants and animals do. The fact is that despite water and
air are classified as not alive, all living things in this world need them to survive.

called reproduction. For example, humans and animals make babies while plants such
as flowers make seeds to create more flowers.

The non-living things could not grow, move by themselves, eat or reproduce.
They are naturally here or made by the living things. They could not do things like
humans, plants and animals do. Although water and air are non-livings, all living
things in this world need them to continue living.
