1-What are some symbols in "The Gift of the Magi"?

Chain. Like the combs, the watch chain is a symbol of the wife's love
for her husband. However, she voluntarily gave up to buy the one
thing she thought would make her husband happy. The chain can also
symbolize your marriage, an institution that provides a "bond"
between two people
2-What is the central/primary purpose of the story?
Henry's purpose in writing 'The Gift of the Magi' was to show that
material possessions are not as important as true love.
3- Is the purpose important or meaningful? (Explain).
I consider that the purpose is important and significant at the same
time, because the purpose of this reading is to teach us how beautiful
love is and that we should be loving with our partners and always want
to make them happy and feel loved.
4- How essential is the setting to the story?
The time, place, and details that make up the time and place are what
contribute to the setting. "The Gift of the Magi" takes place in a
furnished apartment in New York City, the day before Christmas. The
timing of this story is important because it explains why Della and Jim
need a gift for each other.
5-Would you recommend this story to a friend?
Of course, I would recommend this story to a friend because it leaves
a beautiful teaching, it shows us that love is beautiful and that there
are people capable of doing anything for love.
Capital punishment in the Dominican Republic

Yes, I think so, because the death penalty is defined as the execution
of a prisoner as punishment for a crime or offense.

So there are people who commit super serious crimes for which I
consider that they should be executed.

The death penalty exists in all human processes. In the Old

Testament, despite brother Abel, God protected Cain.

He says that he will not kill five of the Ten Commandments, but at the
same time, the death sentences are everywhere in the five books (the
first five books of the Bible).

In various episodes, it is applied to murder, adultery, magic,

homosexuality, heresy, hysteria, rape, rebellion, boss assassin,
murderer, and more.

For centuries, philosophers and thinkers have justified its use.

Especially for the Catholic Church, the defender of the death penalty
Saint Thomas Aquinas, a man who cannot be ignored because of his
great value to humanity, and the judge who handed down the
sentence according to confirmed law, such as Ida, the murderer of the
death penalty.

They can legally kill those who do so at the behest of God. Because
it is God who does it. Another supporter of the death penalty is Juan
Jacobo Rosso, who assures that all crimes violate social rights or
become traitors, betraying the country. In this case, defending the
country is not compatible with you.

This or that must perish. Among other defenders we can cite

Montesquieu, Emmanuel Kant, Aristotle, Plato, Seneca. All authors
agree that the death penalty is a political means of removing harmful
and harmful elements from society because criminals cannot cope
with emotional pain. And death will be the only viable resource to
solve social problems and save the rest.
