The pie chart demonstrates the percentage of career choices of Brighton
University’s graduates in 2019. Overall, graduates tended to be in service industries – about 33.0%, and just only 0.1% of them joined into sport. Under a half the students went into industries, with service industries attracting than other sectors – about a third of them. The manufacturing sector had 16.3% of the students took jobs in there. Working in politics and government was the next prevalent option, 12.1% graduates had their work in this sector. And almost 15% chose to becoming teachers. Two others career choices were transportation and warehousing, with almost 8%; and science and technology with 7.3%. Some of them attended in civil service – about 5.6% of the graduates. Then it come to the other, unidentified sectors with 2.8% of them went in. The least popular choices were the charitable sector and sport, both of them were chosen by under 1%.
