The chart below shows the proportions of graduates from Brighton University

in 2019 entering different employment sectors.

The pie chart demonstrates the percentage of career choices of Brighton


University’s graduates in 2019. Overall, graduates tended to be in service
industries – about 33.0%, and just only 0.1% of them joined into sport.
Under a half the students went into industries, with service industries
attracting than other sectors – about a third of them. The manufacturing sector had
16.3% of the students took jobs in there. Working in politics and government was
the next prevalent option, 12.1% graduates had their work in this sector. And
almost 15% chose to becoming teachers. Two others career choices were
transportation and warehousing, with almost 8%; and science and technology with
7.3%. Some of them attended in civil service – about 5.6% of the graduates. Then
it come to the other, unidentified sectors with 2.8% of them went in. The least
popular choices were the charitable sector and sport, both of them were chosen by
under 1%.
