Electrical: Voltage, Current, Power, Speed, Torque, series and parallel connection
sources.
Electronics: Basics of Diodes, Transistors and FET’s (definitions, V-I Characteristics
and Switching behavior), Concept of Relays, LEDs.

Unit III : Concepts of Flight

Aerodynamics, Flight Performance, Stability and Control.

Unit IV : Components and Specifications-1

Flight Controller: Basics of Microcontrollers (Definition, types and Applications),
Modes of Communications,(IR and RF Transmitter, Receiver.)
Battery: Types, Selection, Charge-Discharge states, diode bridge rectifier (AC-DC)-
5V, 12V, Battery charger,.

Propeller System: Propellers, types of propellers, selection of propellers.
BLDC Motors: Principles of operation, Construction.
