Step-by-step process flow and Screenshot for Demand Planning Process:
I. Product Hierarchy Upload:

1. If we don’t have the product details in Anaplan, we need to take the Product Hierarchy details from SAP
and upload it in Anaplan.
2. Login the Anaplan Tool

3. Select Model as “Unilever International – Singapore” and “Supply Chain Management”
4. Select “Upload Product Hierarchy” Under Master Data Management
5. If need, we can download the template and save it as “CSV” format in the local desktop.

6. Log in SAP  R1P Instance with User name and Password
7. Go to Transaction Code - YUSD_MD0059 - Product hierarchy
8. Select the Variant as “UI_MATERIALS” to get the Anaplan format
9. Update the Product code and remove other fields. Execute it
10. Get the Anaplan format as per the below
11. Extract the details into Excel
12. Now SAP data is ready.

13. Open the Anaplan template and prepare the details from SAP data

14. In Anaplan template, we need to do the CONCATENATE for the codes as per the below information.
a) SKU Codes - As it is in SAP
b) Description - As it is in SAP
c) Division Code - As it is in SAP – [ 4 ]
d) Division - As it is in SAP
e) Category Code- CONCATENATE (Division code, Sub Division code and Category code) [ 4417 ]
f) Category - As it is in SAP (Category Description)
g) Market Code - CONCATENATE (New Category code (e) and Market code) [ 441741 ]
h) Market - As it is in SAP (Market Description)
i) Brand Code - CONCATENATE (New Market code (g) and Brand code) [ 441741B84 ]
j) Brand - As it is in SAP (Brand Description)

k) Format Code - CONCATENATE (New Brand code (i) and Sector code) [ 441741B84B7 ]
l) Format - As it is in SAP (Sector Description)
m) CPG code - CONCATENATE (New Format code (k) and CPG code) [ 441741B84B704 ]
n) CPG - As it is in SAP (CPG Description)
o) Packsize Code - CONCATENATE (New CPG code (m) , Sub Brand code and Pack size code)

p) Packsizes - As it is in SAP (Packsize Description)
q) Market for Finance – Use the same Market code (g)
r) PCAT - Use the PCAT / Market mapping file to update it (Attaching Mapping file in mail)
15. Please refer the below table to understand the template updation.
16. Once completes the template, we can save and close it.
17. Go to Anaplan tool  Upload Product Hierarchy
18. Select “Upload Product Hierarchy” button, then choose the updated template and click the “Run”
19. Once done, we can review the data in the Records table whether do we have any error or not. If we don’t
have any Invalid Records, we can select the “Confirm Product Hierarchy” button to complete the Action.
If we have any invalid records, we need to correct and update it again. (Before Confirm it)s
20. Now Product Hierarchy is successfully uploaded into Anaplan tool.

21. After completion of Product Hierarchy, we need to complete the other product attributes like
UOM, Product Status, Actual Source / Sourcing Country, MRDR code, Packsize, SAP Product status
II. UOM Upload:

1. Once Product Hierarchy upload, we need to take the UOM details from SAP and upload it in Anaplan
2. Log in Anaplan and Go to Supply Chain Management  Master Data Management  UOM Upload
3. Download the template and save it as “CSV” format
4. Log in SAP  R1P instance
5. Go to Transaction Code YUMM_MD0017 - Material UOM EAN
6. Update the Product codes in the field and execute it.
7. Select the layout button to see the fields selection.
8. Check all the fields are included in the layout. If not, then move to Layout side “Displayed Columns”
9. Once report execute, we need to extract the data’s into excel.
10. Open the Anaplan template and SAP data
SAP Data:
11. Update only in “KG” in Anaplan

12. Check the SAP data whether any Grams value available, If yes, change it to “KG” (Grams/1000)
a) Filter the Column “AUn” and value as “CS”
b) Go to column “Un.” And check whether all the values are in “KG”
c)If values in “G” (Grams), then need to divide the “Net weight” value by 1000 to get the “KG” value
13. Take the require field values from SAP data file as per the below combinations
Anaplan template Fields:

a) SKU – Update the Product code
b) Kg per Case – Filter the Column “AUn” as “CS” and take the “Net weight” column values
c) Pieces per Case - Filter the Column “AUn” as “CS” and take the “Numera” column values
d) Pieces per Layer - Filter the Column “AUn” as “LAY” and take the “Number” column values
e) Pieces per Pallette - Filter the Column “AUn” as “PAL” and take the “Number” column values
f) CS to PAL Multiplier – Multify the “Pieces per Case” (c) and “Pieces per Pallette” (e)
CS to PAL Multiplier = “Pieces per Case” x “Pieces per Pallette”
14. Update the template and upload it in Anaplan.
15. Now Product UOM is successfully uploaded into Anaplan tool
III. Actual Source / Sourcing country upload:
1. Once Product Hierarchy upload, we need to take the UOM details from SAP and upload it in Anaplan
2. Log in Anaplan and Go to Supply Chain Management  Master Data Management  Product Attributes
3. Download the Actual Source & Sourcing Country template and save it as “CSV” format
4. Log in SAP  R1P instance
5. Go to Transaction Code “YUMM_MD0013” - Material SCM Plant
6. Update the Product codes and Plant code as “WU02”, execute it
7. If Vendor mapping is not defined at WU02 plant, then we need to check with other plants WU03, WU04
8. Once vendor mapping report executed, you can find the “Manufact.” Column which is Vendor code.
9. From this report we can take the Vendor code and then we need to consider the Actual Source (vendor
Name) and Sourcing Country (vendor country)
10. Normally we get the vendor List file from MDM team to map the Vendor details
11. Also we can take the Vendor details from SAP Transaction Code - SE16 Table T001L (YUBC_ABA0017 -
Custom SE16 with authorization obj. - Table T001L)
12. MDM file
13. From this file we can take the Vendor Name and Country Description for the particular Vendor code
14. Also based on the Anaplan Standardization we need to map the correct Actual Source
15. Update the template (Vendor Name as “Actual Source”) (Vendor Country as “Sourcing Country”)
16. Update the template and upload it in Anaplan.
17. After upload, we can Confirm it.

18. Now Actual Source and Sourcing Country are updated successfully.
