Manosa says he believes that NexGreen

Valenzuela Mayor Rex Gatchalian tells
NexGreen: Gusto ko rin iemphasoze sa iyo
na hindi mo pa rin nadidispute yung fact
na...yung checker mo pala ang nagsabi na
"yan ang sahod mo."

Mayor Gatchalian to NexGreen: Una,
nagkaroon kayo ng alitan. Binarangay kayo,
nagalit ka, pinabalik mo siya ng Sabado
tapos nagkaton lang noong Sabado coins
lang yung ibababyad sa kanya at barya?
Parang napaka-coincidental naman...na
parang bigla na lang nagkataon.

so anong law ang na-violate dito? bawal
mag-pasahod in barya?

Phil currency and notes have legal tender
power as stipulated in Sec 52 of RA No.
7653. Notes have no limit as to their legal
tender power however accdg to BSP
Circular No. 537 Series of 2008, coins
below 1 peso are only considered legal
tender in amts not exceeding 100 pesos.

Not acceptable yung pagbigay nya ng salary
na tig centavos as it is considered no value
at all. So to answer your question, oo pwede
ka magpasahod barya. Pero:
1 peso below - not exceeding 100 pesos
5 peso and 10 peso - not exceeding 1000
pesos
