answer.
1. What are the safety/ precautionary measures you should follow before, during
and after a typhoon?
Student1: Maam , Listen to your radio or read newspaper to get latest
information about the coming typhoon
Student 2: Have emergency lighting facilities like candles and matches maam.
Student 3: During typhoon maam, we should avoid outdoor activities.
Student 4: After typhoon maam, we should avoid wading in flood waters
2. What will you do when you hear typhoon signals no. 1, 2, 3
Student1: Ma’am, when signal no 1 is raised listen to your radio for more
information about the coming typhoon.
Student 2: when signal no 2 is raised, stay home and keep listening to your radio
for more information.
Student 3: when signal no. 3 is raised, just like in signal no 2. We should stay
home and continue listening to the radio for more updates. And we should look
for a safer place, especially when the house is not strong enough to withstand
the typhoon’s force.

Tin: Another one is, you are going to paste the data needed on the chart.
(Checking of the answer)

Tin: Very good! Seems that most of you had mastered the previous lesson.

Tin: Now I want you to go to your respective groups and we will have a game. It
is “forming a puzzle game”.

Krish: You are going to stick and form it on the board. The first group to finish will
receive a reward.

Tin: But before we start, what are our rules in a group play?

Krish: Respect, help, and take turns and no hurting your classmates.

Tin: Who have finished first? Very good group ____. A ribbon for your group.
Stay with your group mates.

Krish : Remember class, the group who has the most number of ribbons at the
end of the month will have a reward. So be cooperative to your group mates and
do your best.

Tin: Let us take a look at what you have formed on the board. What image is it?

Students: mam that is a solar system.

Tin: korek! I want you to watch a video clip about solar system. Keep quiet and
take down notes while watching because you’ll need it later on.

Krish: Did you take down notes? Okay, go to your group mates and you are
going to make a graphic organizer about the solar system.
Tin : There are available learning materials at the back. There’s a laptop with an
internet connection, Books and encyclopedia, Chart and Mobile that you can use
for your research. Then you are going to present it later. You’ll have 10 mins. to
do it.

Very good students!!! You will have another ribbon for your excellent work!

Presentation in PPT..
 Solar System is known as the Sun’s family. It includes the planets and
their moons, and asteroids. Which travel around the sun in definite paths
called orbit.
 The Sun is the start at the center of the Solar System. It produces large
amount of radiant energy.
 The planets are heavenly bodies that revolves around the Sun. They
reflect lights coming from the sun.
 Asteroids are fragments of matter similar to planetary matter that orbit
between Mars and Jupiter.
 A satellite also known as moon is a body that revolves around large
primary body, like a planet.
 Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars are called the inner planets. These
planets are relatively close to the Sun and are solid, rock-like bodies. The
inner planets are also called “the Terrestrial planets”.
 The outer planets- Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are mostly
gaseous. And, are also called “the Jovian planets”.
 Mercury is the smallest and closest planet to the sun, which has the
shortest orbit in the solar system.
 Venus is the hottest planet due to atmosphere of carbon dioxide and
extensive lava flows. It has the same size as the Earth but spins the other
way.
 Earth is our home planet. It has land and water, which can sustain life.
 Mars is rocky and red planet. Its mountains are the highest in the solar
system.
 Jupiter is the biggest planet. It has the fastest spin and it has the biggest
moon.
 Saturnis a gas giant planet. It has rings made of ice. It’s biggest moon is
called Titan.
 Uranusis an ice giant. It is the coldest planet in the solar system. It has
rings made of dust.
 Neptuneis also an ice giant. It is the farthest planet from the sun. It has
many storms.
Did you understand class? do you have any questions? please don’t hesitate to
ask or tell if you didn’t understand our lesson.

we’ll have an activity. the first group. you will do the board activity.. you are going
to place the parts of the solar system accordingly.
then, the group two will illustrate the sequence of the parts of the solar system..
and demonstrate how the planets move around the sun.
Awesome!..
Now please sit down, get ¼ sheet of paper and answer these…
exchange papers..
show the project.. be resourceful and creative, you can use recycled materials..
