Request for New Tax Declaration of a Parcel of Land Declared for the First Time

About the Service: Owners of parcel of land who is not yet declared for taxation purposes or real properties
declared under the name of “UNKNOWN OWNER” may request the Office of the City Assessor to cause the
declaration in the name of the claimant upon submission of the required requirements.

A. WHO MAY AVAIL OF THE SERVICES: Real Property owners of undeclared parcel of land

B. WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS

1. Letter request
2. Sketch plan of the lot prepared by a duly licensed Geodetic Engineer
3. Notarized Affidavit of the Claimant that he has been in long, continuous, and notorious possession of the
property
4. Notarized Affidavit of the Barangay Captain that the claimant is the present owner and actual possessor of
the property
5. Notarized Affidavit of Adjoining Owners that the Claimant is the rightful owner of the property Certification
from the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office that the land is within the alienable and
disposable area
6. Ocular inspection /investigation report conducted by the Office of the City Assessor
7. Receipt of Payment of Inspection Fee
8. Receipt of Payment of Processing Fee

C. FEES/CHARGES: Php50.00 processing fee for each parcel of the land; Php100.00 for each certified true
copy of tax declaration; Inspection fee of Php100.00 for urban barangays and Php200.00 for rural barangays.

D. SCHEDULE OF AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE: Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
